Protip: Curios stack their effects so you can equip the same one and have its effect stack. If you can equip multiple items that increase “material” drops from enemies this also applies to equipment. If you are trying to farm enemies for those special gear drops then stack as much material drop gear/items and you should get it in like 2-3 drops. I did this to get the curios that considerably increased max mana and then stacked x3 of them and it doubled my max mana

You need 237 mind cores if you would like to max out your stats at Xu Dog. Also if you challenge Yin Tiger on each new game+ cycle you get more curios slots I am on new game cycle 2 and I have 5 curios slots.

Just incase you didn’t know, after finishing the Skhanda Questline by defeating the Giant Shigandang in Ch6 you can go back to Xu Dog and recieve the Skhanda Pill which will increase your health, mana, and stamina on top of your already maxed out stats. Took me 4 playthrus to realize it cause I never wanted to fight Giant Shigandang lol, I’m probably missing out on another half of a health bar and mana

It does state when you upgrade it that it changes what elemental attack it does. Combine that with it being the only spirit that needs tadpoles to upgrade and 1+1=2.

Best thing to do is build everything in order, i haven't come across the weapon craft problem. Also for the will farming, use the lantern spirit as well stacking the curios, go to the jade pool shrine from chapter 4, from ghe shrine go the tunnel to the right, use the rate bomb transformation, kills them all, you het like 9k xp and 9k will every run, takes 10 seconds each run, easy.

two things I missed out on (as far as im aware) are 1: the horse guy quest, I missed him in level 1 and didn't look up a quest guide until after yin yang boss and after his whip disappears from the cart 2: the poison bracers you get from taking out all arms in the first encounter with the venom daoist. it would've been nice to know I could permanently lose these quest rewards

Incense trail talisman also resets mobs. You don't need to rest to in the shrine anymore. Faster way to reset when will, xp and item farming. You can also use the scroll to reset your build and restock potions when fighting Yellowbrow.

You need all 4 Focus points, and then make a heavy attack. You can only see 3 of the focus points, but the bar to the left of them fills up after the 3rd point, when its totally filled up, just press heavy attack and you will do the big staff attack. No its not weapon specific or NG+, cause I can do it, and i'm in chapter 4. its Smash Stance Heavy 4 Focus Points attack :) There might be an even bigger version in NG+, i'm not sure.

Big example is the father and son rats If you kill the son first you lost the chance to get hes spirit until NG+ The other is some quest, if you defeated the final boss of a certian area you lose the chance of getting a secret boss Big example if you defeat the boss of purple mist mountain You can't do the Monk quest. So having that option can save you some time.

Use cloud step and thrust stance with enough points to charge a heavy attack while in cloud step. Cloud step -> he does circle -> charge up heavy while invis and knock him out of circle -> beat his butt for a few seconds then rinse and repeat

After you beat Tiger Vanguard the bloody pool opens up, you go through some underground section, and when you get out you slide down some sand and you have to jump and heavy attack to reach it.

Has anyone confirmed whether or not the loot changes on the final boss in the secret area of Chapter 5 if you kill him in the 3rd area you can fight him???? I can’t confirm but I’ve read that you can get your last 2 bull horns from that boss but only if you kill him in his 3rd area. I have no idea whether or not it’s true and can’t find anyone else that’s even tried. So for those that don’t know, when you fight the final boss in the secret area of chapter 5 there is a wall of ice behind him where he first starts out. Let him ram into the wall and it will break, opening up an entirely new area. Head through the wall and the boss will chase you into the new area. He then switches from fire to ice attacks. Keep running through this 2nd arena and you will see a set of stairs covered in ice leading down. Slide down this and the boss will chase you to this arena. “Supposedly” by doing this and killing him in this 3rd arena him loot changes and you can get the last 2 horns you need to craft the whole set in one playthrough. That said, I absolutely cannot confirm this as I killed him in the first arena but even if it doesn’t drop, man that would have made that fight even that much better. Was awesome to begin with but him changing elements and chasing you would add so much more

@@risvanborz9462 no the last boss inside the secret area. He starts out as a flame boss but you can fight him in 2 other areas. Name of the boss is Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast and is the last boss in the Bishui secret area. Break the ice wall behind him and go into the next area. The boss chases and switches to ice attacks. Then I believe he switches back to fire attacks in the 3rd area

3:43 - you don't have to rest in between feeding the cocoon cakes to worm. You can feed all 3 back to back to back, THEN rest. And you're reward awaits.....you're incorrect about recrafting staffs you've already built but accidentally unbuilt, extremely stupid design, anyways, building a staff 2nd time it's will cost is like reduced by 95% and the doesn't cost higher tier resources and the unique quest items required I guess stay with you or are returned. So no you don't pay twice. You pay 1 time, and then if you have to rebuild said staff. It may be confusing but if you pay attention to what the staff originally cost, 2nd time your only paying a couple hundred will and some cold leaves or somthing.
