Just bought this knife a few days ago, but mine uses 440C steel. I also bought one of their D2 4" fixed knife's. Build quality is fantastic and razor sharp.

What is the blade actually made of? I've seen it advertised as D2, 8Cr13MoV, 5Cr13MoV. Anybody know for sure?

It is 420HC. 420 steel High Carbon
