I need to understand how people always claim their lives will get better after finding people who never gave a shi* about them. What happens to those who will never know their real fathers? The first lady claims she would not have gotten pregnant 3 times if her thug "father" was present, is he a contraceptive? It's good to know your family and all, but to think they will now change your life especially as an adult, I think it's being a bit ambitious. See the contrast between the stories, second girl only wanted to know where she belongs, not interested in her new found family to make her life better, even though she really never had a father nor a mother. Her father is cool and he seems responsible. Now he has to get that child a SA'n passport companies here would gladly employ her with her critical skill.

Two South African daughters, one grows up in well off South Africa, the other grows up in challenged Zimbabwe without a mother. The difference in outcomes are influened by choices made by the two families. Discipline and choices make a huge difference in our lives. Whether we like it or not its only natural that we deserve to know both parents. Knowing your parent helps you understand yourself better, but not knowing invelaphi yakho should not be an excuse. I understand the first girl's view that she had kids because of her father's absence. Normal parents play different roles in raising kids. Its a fact that more often than not fathers are strict, compared to mothers.

I think sometimes it's not even worth it looking for these dad's it's just a waste of time. It's high time we do away with this idea of totems because they will mess up your life, praying and trusting in God is the solution. He's even starting to lie saying the family of this girl's mother didn't want him because they were saying he's a taxi driver? I don't believe it cos back in the days being a taxi driver was a good paying job even today people's are well off being into this business. Parents must own up he screwed up and must take responsibility and stop blame game for people who are no longer here maybe they could tell the story well.
@letschatwithkeam38206 жыл бұрын
Let me tell you something, lol I didn't even finish reading your comment. I agree with you and will probably agree with everything you saying. Now parents conceive children not the other way round. I'm turning 27, I do not my biological father, I am not about that life of looking for a so called father who clearly didn't want me in his life. So life must go on. You understand God had a plan for my life before I was formed in my precious Mother's womb, so aiyeeeeee... ok as I continue to read you comment, lol

Pa Maskus if you let madlozi run your life they will come to your life like lightning. Unless you are a non believer and you believe in them. I never knew my dad until I was a grown up. My mom raised me well. My dad is my dad and I respected him until he passed on. Yeah being africans there was talk at one stage that I had to go for a cleansing ceremony. My mum just told my dad that she believes in God and God will protect me and my dad agreed too. When I started working my mum told me to always make sure I sent my dad money and buy him clothes. I did that cos he was my father. I didn't even question him why he was not part of my life? it was a waste of time and i didn't want to know how they lived with my mum. It was water under the bridge. My concern was to make my dad happy with the little I had.I am a grow up with two sons. My children knew my dad and they loved him very well. Let me tell you and you try it. If you live by faith, prayer, love and respect madlozi will never ever try to come near you. Guardian angels 24/7! life goes on.

Not enough men are looking for their children. on average 1 out of 10 incidents. After all the are the abandoners and children are always innocent and have to do all the looking and sometimes get humiliated. Actually parents should be the one looking not the other way round.

I fully agree with you but it seems like males from that generation are screwed up. They lost of values that defined us a people. Their fathers were present in the home, took care of their wife/wives and kids. Sad state of affairs. Lets hope our male peers do better than our parents.
@nandiphatatoba81986 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if it has been different. This started when men would go work in the mines living their wives in the homeland kanti they have another family in JHB or wherever they worked. Our generation is still screwing up, they're not paying child support if they are they care less about spending time. There are good ones though, obviously. I think they can't really hide....because - social media has made the world extremely small. While hating on men, I also believe women are equally responsible for the pregnancy, why on earth do you not prevent pregnancy, especially because as a woman you end up bearing the most load anyway.
