This is actually a never ending discussion what brand should we use and how to apply bla bla.. i have spent alot of money on perfumes, and only few of the perfumes last long. I’m living in middle east and only arabic people smell so good and the fragrance on them stay long because they use 3 types.. 1- oud or any arabic perfumes 2- the oil and 3- they take the smoke from burning oud or bakhor.. In french perfumes some will be cheaper and will stay long and some are way too expensive and will not last long.. so it depends

I live in a town near Lucknow called Kannauj which is known as the Perfume City of India, infact most of the trading and manufacturing of raw materials used in fragrances is done here in Kannauj. My dad is one of the only few people in Kannauj who do Qualitative Analysis of perfume/natural oil samples before they are sold off/exported in huge quantities.

Oud is my favorite to use as it stays longer and smells amazing. I prefer it over normal perfumes anyday. And I love using fragrances so this podcast is gonna be a lot helpful. Thanks a ton 😄

Very refreshing and educational podcast. There's a world of perfume out there. I personally have been enjoying spice/ nature inspired perfume for over a decade. Try "Grey Flannel" once. Grey Flannel is classified as a luxurious, oriental, woody fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of lemon, orange, violet, cinnamon and rose. Accompanied by woody notes of oak and sandalwood. We definitely should discuss such mutual interesting topics more. Love n respect from Houston,TX.

I personally wouldn't consider Penhaligon's an ultra-niche brand, though they are my favourite western perfume house. Ultra niche brands I would consider Ensar Oud, Agar Aura, Areej Le Dore and a few others. But then you could say they are more "artisanal" rather than "niche".

Junaid bhai try Armaf intense man... And ajmal wisal.. It will stay for almost whole day and it is made for uae.. So it stays in hottest weather condition.. And u are absolutely right k brand ki baat nahi.. Creed aventis will cost u more then 45 thousand pakistan rupees or more then 1000 dirhams for a 100 ml bottle but u can buy the same clone fragrance by armaf intense man.. Which is hardly 5 thousand pakistan.. Or 100 dhs... I live and work in sharjah by the way ☺

The problem in Pakistan is that the shopkeepers really discourage testing of the fragrance. Even in big stores like Shaheen Chemist in Islamabad. The guy will mostly ask for assurance that you will buy it before you test. I am in Australia, here they have the testers on display and you can go and checkout the fragrance for as long as you want. They might come and offer help but if you tell them you are okay then they will leave you alone. I wish this was the case in Pakistan too.

I live in Dubai & there’s a shop in Daira called “Teeb Emirates” they’re making all kinds of perfumes, its like they’re copying but fragrance are amazing. They have their own brand as well called “Teeb Musk” & im using that when i go to office & literally my colleagues ask me what perfume im using & its not 1 or 2 but 8-10 colleagues asked me. Also while walking outside few people stopped me & ask the name of this perfume. Try if you live in Dubai

There are master copies in the market very few can differentiate. My suggestion is to buy from official distributors
