ALLAHU AKBAR. just now I was reading a comment of a guy who was saying Muslims pray to a man called muhammad. I wanted to comment on that but I realise that those people are very ignorant about Islam and if I should talk about it. They might be insulting Islam and the prophet s.a.w so I ignored them. Thank you brother for talking about these things. keep up the good work we need more channels to make sure people understand Islam's true meaning cause the media is doing all they can to spoil the name of Muslims and Islam as a whole. may ALLAH keep protecting his people and guide us on the right ways. Ameen

I wouldn't say he was completely off. I myself used to call on Muhammad directly during salat (as salaamu 'alaika ayyuhannabiyy). The amount of veneration for Muhammad displayed in this video is not anything short of praying to Muhammad. tadabbur.org/salawat/ discusses this practice in the light of the Quran. Surely, it was not the sunnah of Muhammad to praise and glorify himself in this manner. Then whose sunnah is being followed here?

@@baniaz0 assalamualaika ayyu Han nabbiyu is been said ...the tahiyyat is fully in narative style in meraj...the talking of ALLAH and Rasul sm in the night of meraj is being remembered in the sura as narrative style....you are not giving Salam to prophet SM
@baniaz04 жыл бұрын
@@muhammaduthmanabdurrahman515 Interesting point! Some people were troubled by the idea of Muhammad being called upon directly, so they came up with an alternative narrative. That Muhammad is not being called called upon, but it is "remembering night of meraj in narrative style". Fair enough. They might have avoided the problem of "calling upon others besides God". Setting aside the fact that the "narrative style" idea is classified as fabricated in orthodox Islam (see islamqa.info/en/answers/117604/tashahhud-originated-during-the-miraj), this still means that vast majority who do not specifically recite it "narrative style" are still calling on Muhammad. Now coming to your point. Is it veneration to remember the mi'raj story in "narrative style" even though Muhammad is addressed in second person singular ("You")? We have to remember that the purpose of Salat is to exclusively commemorate God (dhikrullah), and not to do dhikr (remembrance) of Muhammad. God told Moses (20:14): "I am indeed God, there is no other god except Me, you shall, then, worship Me and observe the to commemorate Me." The first part of the verse is the kalima (la ilaha illallah), and the second part tells us the purpose of salat. Also see 29:45, 6:162. And certainly Moses did not do dhikr of Muhammad in his salat, since he was not born yet. Muhammad could not have done dhikr of himself, which would also be absurd. So whose sunnah is it? If we insist that we cannot mention God *alone* in our salat, and are happy only if others besides God are also mentioned, then we would fit the description in another verse ... (39:45) And when God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter sicken but when others are mentioned besides Him, they rejoice. Also, included among the "Articles of Faith" listed in the famous "aamanarrsoolu" verse (2:285) is "make no distinction between God's messengers". The number of ways by which we violate Quranic principles is too long a list to elaborate here. So coming back to the question, is it veneration to ritually commemorate Muhammad in this manner in salat (even if you have got around the "call upon" problem by treating it as "narrative style")? You decide.

The Prophet, as he mentioned in the lecture, said that, "Allah send your blessings on Mohammad and the family of Mohammad (Wa Aalehe Muhammad) but every time he mentions the prophets name, he says, "Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam" meaning "peace be upon him" which is disobedience towards the prophet because the prophet said "and the family of mohammd".

Salam, Thank you for this. I was having doubt that salah could mean 'worshipping' the prophet (peace be upon him). So does that mean I can ask Allah (swta) to send salah to my parents.. because i would love them to be raised in rank too (obviously the prophet more, but still i would love my parents to be raised)

Aal Ibrahim has prophets. Muhammad pbuh is better than Ibrahim pbuh. but Ibrahim's Aal are prophets and Aal of Muhammad is his followers! What a joke. know that just as Aal Ibrahim are prophets, Aal muhammad are the truthful imams as.

So let me get this straight. YQ just said that the prophet said bless PM (pbuh) and his family. Then YQ continues to say Allahmu Salee ALA Muhammad. And stops there?! Why not praise the family of the prophet like the prophet wanted you to?!!!!!!!!
@maganhassan26273 жыл бұрын
Huh? The sheikh already explained what does "ali Muhammad" mean like family of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) & his descendants (those who are righteous & believe on his message) & also supporters of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) meaning anyone righteous again supporting prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) & believing on his messenge
