Wonderlands was (and to a certain extent still is) a fun installment in the franchise, but it REALLY hurts to see the dlc potential squandered. This game wasn’t even locked down by canon so they could’ve done literally ANYTHING they wanted with dlc and they chose…..more chaos chambers…

I was thinking about this the other day. They could have done anything with the DLC. It could have been another game with another group. Other VH, side characters, or my personal favorite is a Villains game. Where you fight the protagonists we’ve seen through the games. Go to old locations, maybe some throwback style guns, fight some VH/named characters, and just go crazy with it. We sorta see that in the Krieg DLC but for this I mean like full on bosses.

It IS an amazing game. I posted my review TWO DAYS before release and pointed out that there were SEVENTY named enemies that didn’t respawn. At that point I obviously had no idea how bad endgame would be and that the DLCs would actually be PLCs. Sorry I couldn’t predict the future. I also made a video just two months after launch called Wonderlands What Went Wrong? Where I cite all the problems the game was suffering from. I presented all this info time and time again in videos, in tweets and directly to the developers. That’s all I can do. I can’t go code the game for them. I can’t MAKE them make the changes I’m asking for.

I didn’t buy the super deluxe edition or whatever it’s called but I don’t blame anyone who did, because prior to this they’ve released nothing but bangers as dlc.

@@ethantingle5525 BL3 was one of the faster ones to 100%, the longest achievements being the completion of every side quest and discovering all named locations. I'd say it took about a week or two if you're really dedicated. It doesn't take nearly as long as BL2

Blightcaller goes reaaaally well with the other elemental classes, so getting into sporewarden or clawbringer (and graveborn a little bit too) makes for some explosive damage

Wonderlands is the game that is probably my absolute favorite first time playthroughs of the Borderlands series. Just the way the main story is balanced so that you are always going against on level enemies, so you could just go on a side quest whenever you want. I always hated how you can get so over leveled doing all side quests or being super under leveled if you are just pushing mostly story progress. My biggest issue though is not being able to swap your secondary class mid playthrough.

I reached level 40 for the first time and have done a couple of basic chaos chambers. Everytime i get at the end game, it just makes me wanna start all the way over with a new character lol. Will i ever go back to my Brraveborn character? Possibly. But there's something about the main campaign and the side quests that i really enjoy.

It’s a great base game. Chaos Chambers are fun but don’t go above 50 and you’ll enjoy them more. DLCs are largely sad but I like the third one a lot. Fun boss fight imo

as others have said, wonderlands had insane potential for DLC. like the class system, could you imagine if they made vault hunter class packs? for example, could have had a BL1 pack of two classes based on the vault hunters of BL1. like spectral solder that fuses lilith and Roland into a class and frenzied ranger for a Brick mordecai fusion. action skils being theirs course. then the same for BL2 with axton and salv fused, maya zero, Gaige Kreig. etc and so on. hell i could probs make half decent skill trees based on these given like 10 mins on each. so why couldnt they? as for story content... it's DnD.... LITERALLY ANY STORY EVER WAS POSSIBLE!!! makes me think they got really tight with the budget on this game and not a lot of time either. so sad to see.

This game is so unfortunate. It had loads of potential but was poorly balanced and supported. As a console player my game to this day still crashes every other time I got to brighthoof, if I spend too mich time in brighthoof, or every other time I try to respec.

Are they done producing content for this game? I actually bought this game on sale a while back without looking at any reviews, because I spent over a thousand hours on BL2 and absolutely loved that game. Favorite game ever. Every DLC was perfect. Didn't really play BL3 or TPS much, but I think that was because they didn't really scratch the same itch as BL2. What I was really nostalgic about was Tiny Tina's DLC. So when I saw this game in the Steam store (I hadn't heard about it from marketing or anything, surprisingly), I just kinda reflexively bought it, assuming they had finally gotten back to making the kind of stuff I loved so much about BL2. But I never got around to playing it (so many games on my backlog), and then I ended up stumbling upon reviews of the game that were extremely harsh, especially about the DLC and endgame/postgame content. That there's basically no endgame loot grind in the game, no boss farming, no real story DLCs, etc. Which really discouraged me from ever playing the game. It looked pretty damn entertaining from your video, but it's hard to tell from the video whether there's any entertaining story or any real endgame to pump hundreds of hours into. And reading your comments it sounds like all the critiques I heard before are still accurate. So now I'm wondering, are they ever gonna make this game worth my while?

I think they're done with this game. I think the base game and story are worth playing. Just avoid the "PLCs" except the third one which has an awesome boss fight. Think of those like Headhunters. THey're short. Endgame is just Chaos Chambers and the dedicated drops are attached to loot luck which was a MASSIVE mistake.

Great against skeletons but really bad against the tanks cyclopses. So I will be leveling a little because it feels impossible otherwise as I am stuck In the necropolis
