The Mongol is special to me, like your first entry. It dropped from its dedicated, Dukino's mum, while ironically I was playing coop with my mum. I remember taking it to warrior and seeing the huge amount of extra rockets it spawned during flight.

I want all laser weapons to appear again in BL4 with the barrel manufacturers determining the way they fire like TPS. Also, can The Pre Sequel get some love? The Absolute Zero, Thunderfire, Laser Disker, Longest Yard, Excalibastard, The Luck Cannon, Kaneda's Laser, Glitch rarity,A form of the Jakob's Pepperbox, The Flayer, all superb legendaries and uniques just never to be seen again. I also saw someone mention The Machine. There are a shit ton of TPS guns that deserve to be brought back in the next game.

@brooklynbradley yeah because they were gatekept by the frigging grinder. If you play on PC learn to mod and use the community patch for TPS one exists for BL2 as well guides exist online and it's not difficult and the community Patch actually adds dedicated drops to named NPC's

I am looking forward to hearing how all of our standard manufacturer (including all mentioned in the video) can actually be on the new planet, considering it has been shielded off from the rest of the universe forever (or however long the shield has been in place). Sure, several years have passed since Elpis crashed into the shield, so the weapons we saw in TPS certainly will have migrated down, but the others? Has the location become common knowledge now around the borderlands universe so that all of the manufacturers have opened up trade with Callis and/or the Timekeeper? Oh, and I so so so want my Unforgiven Masher back from BL1. :)

Merry Christmas, Joyous Yule, and Happy Hanukkah everyone! I stand by my older comment that the Hellfires should return (both Maliwan and the Dahl in form of the self titled “Brimstone”). However, one legacy I want that wasn’t on the list is to be in the Tsunami back. It was awesome in 1, not bad in Normal Mode in 3 (I was so hype to get it from Katagawa Ball in my first playthrough). It may not be best but I think it’s an underrated hype weapon.

I hope the Hellfire's redemption, I really hope we get an Ogre and half of me wants it to be a serious weapon and the other half wants it to be memed passing it to a different manufacturer. Skullmasher is high on my list, and one thing I'd also like to see again that did show up in more than one game is the Carnage I liked the concept in BL1 with Shotgun that fired rockets, and it was a masterpiece of a weapon to me in BL2.

I love the mongol funnily enough because of randomizer runs. Like nothing makes my monkey brain happier than getting a shotgun that shot mongol rockets. Sure it crashed the game if you shot it into the sky, but the absolute chaos of a x15 mongol felt good. I also just like the concept of it, I do think it fills a nice niche of a rocket launcher that is good vs large bosses. Since it's power scale with distance and it's accuracy doesn't suffer when the target is the entire screen, if only the rocket launcher was a bit stronger. I simply don't care about balance when it comes to rocket launchers, I want big boom gun to one shot everything. I rarely use them as it is, so it's nice when they feel strong enough to use.

I think all the recurring legendries should come back (preferably to the best versions), but I'd also like to see revolvers come back (I know they probably won't), they were so fun to use, but I'd also like to see the Anarchy come back (my idea is to bring it back as a Dahl legendary or pearl as a double stinger version, call it the Final Anarchy and give it the red text of "Destroyer of Vault monsters" or something like that and give it the gimmicks of the manufacturers that it came in in Bl1, at least as best they can)

There is a Jackops sniper from Borderlands The Pre sequel I don't remember it's name exactly. I guess it was a reward from Sir Hammerlock's quests. It had no scope and it was extremely satisfying sniping enemies with it.

My first ever legendary in borderlands 2 was the gub right before the bunker bossfight from a lootmidget from an ammo crate next to the door. Used the gub until I finished the game.

It could be hard to justify the return of them story wise, but I'd really love to see the glitch weapons from The Pre-Sequel's Claptastic Voyage come back somehow. Those were the most fun weapons I remember using throughout the series.

I liked the video, I definitely hope some of these come back and aren’t watered down. I came in at BL3 so it’s my baseline standard for most. Currently playing BL2 so I’m looking forward to seeing how I like the “2” versions. Btw Dukino’s mum at digistruct park suuuuuucks. I love the BL1s version of the Hellfire. The rapid fire version is a beast and the slow versions damage is off the charts. Nothing beats seeing enemies melt as you rip into them with that animal.

The borderlands 1 ogre even without the ajax variant was a monster of a work horse. I got one to drop at level 54 and I'm still using it to kill Craw to this very day on my Roland. It's only AR29 top

You know one gun I wouldn't mind coming back is the Fridgia. Just a gun made to freeze enemies really quickly for your favourite melee builds. Because while I feel BL3 did a lot for melee combat it just doesn't feel the same without the 0G mechanics imo. But I would love to see a gun thats not there for its damage but because it can apply its status ailment fast and reliably. Another that I am personally a fan of is I think its called Tina's Teacup or something its a quest reward in BL2, a corrosive pistol that heals you. That gun was so helpful at lower levels I really wish we got quest rewards like that in the next Borderlands.

For personal reasons, I want the Kerblaster from BL2 to make a return. I don’t exactly remember what my first legendary was in BL2, but I do remember that it was the first legendary that I actively farmed for from Midgemong and it was my favorite legendary AR since it looked great and did decent damage. It never got a chance to shine due the AR nerf in BL2, returned in TPS as the Kerboom, but it was a pain-in-the-ass farm from Boomer due to him being an aerial boss in zero gravity, and it could easily fall into the pit if it did drop, and was non-recoverable since there was no Lost Loot Machine back then. It never made appearance in BL3, and meta options like the Boom Sickle and the Soulrender only made me miss the Kerblaster even more. (Also, Merry X-Mas to you and the fam, K6. ❤🎄)

Honestly feel its a case where we should have proper Revolvers back for 4 the way we got Mashers back in 3. Make it a rarer variant barrel that leans towards the one-tap mentality (especially for Jakobs) with different secondary traits depending on the manufacturer. We almost had something like that with the certain Maliwan charge-ups that increased the shot by shot damage, but it ever quite got there.

I have to agree with you K6 on the launchers, I always thought that they were over-rated by the game, what with ammo being so expensive and all other ammo regenerating faster. Launchers just never hit as hard as they should have in any of the games. I would say that they are strongest in Borderlands 3, but still most are pointless. Also, K6, are you not aware that getting the Hellfire from Jabbermogwai is easy IF you use a fire weapon to kill him? I think it's almost every time using fire

As an addendum to the Unforgiven, the Maggie should 100% make its return as it feels like a better successor to the "Masher Unforgiven" and is a wonderful all-rounder regardless of character/build. (Also more pellets=more shoot=more dead=more loot.)

I'd absolutely love to see the Pimpernel, the Norfleet, and good melee weapons to come back. The Pimpernel was just amazingly fun to use on all the characters in bl2 and I was kinda hoping it'd make a comeback in bl3 but I was very sad to hear it didn't. The Norfleet being very annoying to farm in bl2 still makes it one of the only weapons in all the borderlands games that I have yet to obtain for myself but it is absolutely iconic for being a subtle reference to the B.F.G in the Doom franchise. If it makes a comeback in bl4 I'd like for it to be insanely viable and powerful to use but also hard to obtain. What i mean by melee weapons is bringing back the types they did in wonderlands but make them actually good 😂 but make them have categories. Daggers, swords, hammers, nunchucks to be goofy, spears maybe? Idk but for the love of christ don't make them bad or useless
