I remember people only used to buy Hyundai or Kia cars in USA only because there were huge discounts from dealers. Or I used to see them in Rental car fleet. But After 2008 recession they brought new generation Sonata which had Awesome design and it was immediate hit. Ever since most of the new models are sold decently well with new design language but their engines were still not powerfull or fuel efficient. Their DCT were unreliable and later they shifted to Torque onverter. Now they brought back DCT transmission for new cars. But I still fee their DCTs are not fast and reliabble especially in Indian conditions because of frequent shfts of gears in the City driving condition.

They are everywhere in the USA, mostly the Forte/K3 and Stinger. Dealers can never keep a Stinger on the lot for more than 30 minutes.

Like on neutral if revved it'll rev, from the speakers ofc but still. And while accelerations and stuff it'll make sounds in the outside even if it's EV. That might be a way to keep the fun while driving..
