I think some car companies right now like Kia and Hyundai are going to piss off a lot of people by offering these matt finishes. I just assumed you could use a brushless car wash but now I hear it really should be hand washed with different kinds of detergent. Seems extra expensive to purchase a Matt finish and apply ppf for another $7K or so. Crazy I believe I will stay away from them especially since I live near some dirty birds. Good video.

Great information great channel. My question is I live in upstate New York and cannot wash my matte finish in the winter. Is it okay to go to a touchless car wash to remove the salts and dirt.

If I put a matte PPF on a gloss black car, do I still need to be as careful with it as if it was matte paint? I’d assume if I got some scratches on the PPF on the hood I’d only need to re apply PPF to the hood and not redo the whole body? Are there any other caveats to going this route?

If I install a Clear Bra on the entire car with Matte Paint + Ceramic coating on top of it. Can I wash as a regular car? Or I would still wash as a Matte?

You would wash it the same way we recommend to wash any car. Hand Wash with a PH natural car soap

Wrong if matte PPF is damaged in anywhere. painting the same panel at dealership is cheaper than getting the PPF on that same place
