KIA FORTE BAD ENGINE OR EASY FLIP

In this video, we do a walk around of our new 2019 Kia Forte that is a flood-damaged salvage car from Copart. We try to find where the damage is and not sure if it's actually flood damage. The car was stolen then recovered and sold at Copart. We have a P0017 check engine light on and that's the main issue we find. We do a full detail of the car.

That "S" badge is definitely not original. What you got is the base LX model, as higher-spec models have a push start button and other bells and whistles.

I think it’s actually a s because it has the rims, led lights and the seats are not the fe or lxs seats

I have the 2.0 engine in my 2016 Soul with 225k miles on it now. I deliver auto parts in it. Never any major issues. Just basic stuff like coil packs brakes oil etc.

Depending on how much mileage you have, it could be the PCV valve recently replace mine. I had the exact same issues on my 2014 Elantra GT where it would burn oil did that replace spark plugs coil packs cleared codes and is running perfect.. good luck guys🤙🏼

Regarding the theft issue, Kias with non-transponder keys are vulnerable to thefts committed by the "Kia Boyz", who simply rip the ignition barrel and use a USB cable to crank it. Yes, the socket of the ignition barrel is shaped exactly like a USB port, which makes many Kias the easiest cars to steal.

Kia ho my God.my pray for you.i do not want too put down Your build.but these cars have lot off problems. Body is very well build but engine and transmission have problems. I have work for Kia dealer ship. Good luck.

Mmmmm.....as a guy who got burned by way too many "water/flood" damaged cars in NY due to hurricane Sandy doing a ton of damage a few years back, I run away from any vehicle with that tag on it. I hope you guys get luckier than me 🤞🤞

They are both installing software updates to supposedly fix the issue. They ha had a three day "Pop Up Service Dept." last weekend at "Sox Park" in Chicago for Hundai. Kia held one in St.Louis, Mi. the week before. Takes about half an hour total time. Should call a Dealer or Google it.

Where to run that good probably just I just change out the bad sensors I don't think there's nothing wrong with valves it won't even if it runs run real bad with a bent valve

@@SwampBoysGarage In past April 2023 I got an engine problem with my 99 4Runner. 3rz-fe i went to look for a JDM or Used motor the problem is they told me it could have similar problem and I decided to rebuild it in the machine shop with new pistons and heads(gaskets) replaced and today it runs like a brand new truck with no sound while accelerating and no oil consumption.
