That is surprising that the Navigation System was so poor. Not able to find a gas station which has been there for awhile. KIA needs to step up their game as this is simply unacceptable.

Nice to watch this test cause i just got my own new Niro... I got the older one before. I choose this car cause i was told it would cost around 4300 sek for everything. My are also the most expensive of them. Now a little inflation and a little more i have to pay.

I don’t know what the Niro EV is competing against, at least not at how much it is priced. It’s a nice tall hatchback with some mild improvements over the original 2019 car but it’s weird how little they did with the charging speeds. Cheaper EVs in the same class have 100kW charging and shorter charge times. 85kW would be great if it held that for 30 mins. That would put the 10% to 80% in like 32 minutes.

Other vehicles at the same pricepoint also tend to be less energy efficient, which also add travel time.

It’s only true competition is the Hyundai Kona and in the USA the Chevy bolt. Though the bolt is WAYYY cheaper in the states.

Advertised range of 410km. Needs to charge three times to go 610km. Must be that new maths I keep hearing about.

10:25 it’s unacceptable charging speed from the Kia Niro EV. Come on, it’s 2023; and Kia can do much better. This car should be able to do 130/140 kW charging speed. And, with these king of charging speed it would be one of the best EV’s available

The e-Niro has changed from a car that I would be proud to drive to an ugly duckling!! Apart from that, I prefer my digital speedometer over the standard type that was fitted to all petrol and diesel cars!!

The old E-Niro was a much better looking vehicle than the new one. Give me a Renault Zoe any day of the week and I’ll be happy!! It’s the car I drive at the moment, and I’m happy with the car’s performance and drivability.

@@adofoi30 pretty sure you didn't do long trips with EVs then! Knowing where charging stations are, what speeds the chargers are and also real time vacancy is pretty essential for an EV.

@@adofoi30 because there were gas stations everywhere. So at least I had fuel when I was lost. With EV you need gps to get you to the charger ….

Because he drove the car for 610km. It doesn't say he did it on one charge. He actually charged twice (and once before the trip).
