Kia Niro hybrid tire presure reset

Do you need special tyres for this? Feels a bit stupid that it works on my summer tyres but not the winter ones. I assumed that the sensors just not compatible with my winter tyres (?). My tires are at 2.49-2.5 bar in the morning before driving..

Also, Kias tpms is normally able to show pressure on each tyre in one of the info panel, but not for these winter tyres.

My tires were up to 2.2-2.3 and it started to show this message even though it was like this before and i drove 10k kilometres. How come it did not show up earlier?
