Is the Kia Seltos GT-Line the most complete small SUV on the market? Should you buy a Seltos over a Mazda CX-30 or Volkswagen T-Roc? With more size and space than most other compact crossovers on sale in Australia, the Seltos is already doing a roaring trade with families. But is the most expensive version worth it? In today’s video, we take a very close look at the 2021 Seltos GT-Line AWD to determine if this is the sweet spot, or if it’s priced too richly.

Hate to be “that guy” and apologies if this has already been mentioned but; the two tone white+black roof is a clear white not the pearl. And the reason I chose the GT line was because I wanted LED headlights which means GT or nothing in the current lineup. I also preferred the GT line seats but would have considered a lower spec if the LED option was there.

Great review. I bought a new car recently and seriously considered the seltos. The steel wheels on the base model Seltos really turned me off. In the end I went with the Hyundai tuscon. Slightly bigger. Better specs on the base model. But really it came down to a salesperson who was friendly at Hyundai vs the guy at Kia who couldn’t be bothered to return calls, wasn’t willing to negotiate and couldn’t spare me the time of day to show me one properly. I guess he didn’t need to as he had no stock available and several people on a waiting list.

I remember all the Mazda 2 reviews a few years ago used to give the brand tons of flack for having a cheap popup HUD on flexiglass. Funny that the reviews almost all seem to list it as a positive in the Kia which costs double. Great review as always gents

Yeah, it is a shame the LEDs are exclusive to the GT-Line for now.

Actually my friend owns one and he says it's not that big of a car that it needs rear vents to be honest. It's just that I feel when ppl want to spend money they want every thing they ever desired in a car. IMO front vents are enough to keep the car at a good temperature

I know it's not all wheel drive but oddly enough it seems the Skoda Kamiq is better equipped, better value and more refined. Not sure if it's in the same class but the Kamiq is definately on my list.

Indians crying in corner after seeing this... there is a lot of cost cutting and compromise in India.. No AWD, Lane Assist, Engines are smaller and the most important thing, in ANCAP it scored 5 stars, while the Indian version scored barely 3 stars with 8.03 score on Global NCAP.

i have a 2013 kia rio , the car is great but beware of parts cost . the front catalytic converter needed replaced . $2600 part cost from dealer , $1600 from rockauto . engine computer part cost $1900 . couldn't find it aftermarket . its a great car but after the factory warranty is out it's just isn't worth it .

Kia seats are usually not that good also the sills are quite deep really annoying getting dirt on your clothes,but I still like the brand why they don't address these issues I don't know!

well we have had two kias, both with DCT and they work very well - it make me wonder why some reviewers critisize them - most likely because they are used to an auto and dont understand how to use a DCT properly...I have had VW' gtis with DSG and they are better on down shift than Kias dct, but nothing fundamentally wrong with them. maybe some reviewers (in USA ) got a dud transmisison - or one built in a mexcian factory ? Our Seltos's DCT shits quickly and smoothly and works perfectly well ....its a shame that some reviewers, who may have had a faulty transmission in the test car, then give all viewers what can be a completely inaccurate representation of DCT.

Hi, I'm sure you suffered a lot while doing that review and selling as rubish how good this car is. You and Kia whatever the name is, is.... well, you and this car is not a combination. You would perfectly fit in to Bmw or Benz or Alfa romeo, so please do review any of those one, thank you.
