Manual mode in an automatic car doesn’t mean that you can keep revving the engine and it will never change gears. Gears will downshift in manual mode too after it redlines, it doesn’t mean it’s a sport mode. Simply because Sports mode does not only mean high revving engine, it affects the overall response time, dynamics and suspension tightening to make car more agile. Your understanding of Sports mode in cars is flawed that’s why you are confusing manual with Sports mode.

Its not a manual mode, it is a sports mode. Gear changes automatically not manual thing required. Upshift and downshift both automatically

It is a sports mode bro don’t worry, you don’t have to upshift or downshift manually , gears will change automatically in this mode but yes once you do manually up shift thn you have to do manual up shift for 2-3-4-5 gears.

also in i20 it nvr shows the gear Number. bcz logically cvt/ivt do not have gears its infinite ratio i think. so why does seltos ivt shows gear?

Bro dekho jab aap right krte ho usko to vo sports mode pe aajata hai . Apko kuch nhi krna aage piche na plus na minus sign normally right krke chalate raho . But agar aap plus minus manually kroge hatho se jo aap puch rhe ho to fir apko manually gear shift krna pdega . And vo bhi bas plus hi hoga i mean 2 se 3 3 se 4 minus vo bhi apne aap hota hai

I own an htx ivt and trust me “don’t ever try to do” what is referred to as an sports mode in this video! Never drive at this high rpm’s it will damage your engine !!! Kia mentions on its website that the htx variant doesn’t get any drive modes. And I request this channel to please don’t post wrong information and misguide the general public just to get views

Obviously the mileage will be the same as driving style has not changed. Same 80 kms , same method of driving!! In sports mode you are supposed to race, accelerate , decelerate etc.

Wrong information!! There is no sports mode. The one explained as sports mode is actually a manual mode with an automated gear transmission handler when the acceleration is pressed. This keeps the rpm on higher levels unless you shift the lever by yourself.

What do you understand by sports mode bro ? Simple it is You feel an increased response on the throttle, a raised the transmission shift point. Higher level RPM to yahi to hota hai seltos mai So kyu nhi keh skte sports mode isse and ya u don’t need to shift lever by yourself. It’s totally automated. To manual mode kaha se hua ? And i am little bit confused what is manual mode with an automated gear transmission?

In SPORT mode... the vehicle’s body tends to feel more planted atop its wheels more of the time, even during intensive driving at high speeds on a circuit. This improves vehicle stability, reduces driver workload, and makes the experience of pushing of pushing the vehicle feel more laid back and composed.
