Hi thanks, what i mean by bi directiinal i think i was talking about the scantool. Coz with bi directional control you can activate components and see if they are working, and know if the module is capable controlling the component and you can check the circuit for that component. I hope i explain it okay for you.

Thank you! I got 2013 Kia sorento 3.5 V6 and i have gas pump filling issue where when filling my gas tank the fuel pump shuts off frequently. I think i might have this same issue

Either the canister close valve is stucked close or the charcoal canister is done.

Hi. Thanks for the informative video. I have 2 questions with regards to my 2018 G80 Sport. 1. How is best to clean out the carbon with it being a GDI? 2. We had some cold weather and my car struggled to start. Now I have the check ESC. What is the ESC? Thanks

1. It really depends theres many ways, the non intrusive one is we have a machine and a chemical bottle will run thru that machine and we will feed thru the injector and the intake, usually we recommend that service around 30k km and then doi it again every now and then. But let say theres already big buildup of carbon already we usually remove the intake manifold and clean each intake valve. 2. About the hard starting, it could be a battery issue, and the check esc system, the modules on the late models they are senstive on operating voltage, it could be a battery issue again or charging voltage. I would suggest to let your mechanic check the battery, charging system and the circuits and scan for codes. I hope that helps

Would this issue cause my car to not crank after putting fuel in?

Usually after refueling and no start but it cranks, its the purge valve that it stucked open, but in your case you said it doesnt crank or the engine wont turn over?

Usually that vent valve will only give you the check engine light and to pass emission, as far as i know it wont affect the driveabilty for that particular part. Unless its stucked closed that can cause for hard fill up in the gas station.
