Is this the reason I'm getting a engine code for transmission overheating? There is no noise or burning smell. No grinding no other indication that's something wrong except a little slipping after the code is thrown.

That might have been after my borescope camera broke, before I got a new one. That plug had a good amount of resistance. It almost felt like I was going to break it to get it off.
