Sucks this is not legal in California! I sold my 2001 Mustang to buy my 2017 Kia Soul Plus. But I installed a K&N air filter to my Mustang. I kept the filter in service for at least 5 years and 7 months! Great job K&N!

@@KNfilters I have a 2013 Kia soul I recently installed a new MAF sensor and heard aftermarket cold air intakes could cause a problem with the maf sensor.

@@KNfilters I don't understand how it all works but I was thinking more airflow that the KN obviously gives the car would cause the MAF sensor to change and set off a code. I'm a little concerned but I have a good code reader and have done all the work on my car but just don't wanna get into a bunch of extra work but I really think I'm gonna put a KN on my Kia Soul. I have 184,000 miles on it,have so far put NPboosted coil packs on,Oem plugs,replaced cam sensors,crank sensor,ignition condensor,vacuum purge sensor,Maf sensor using all OEM products just last year did front and rear wheel bearings,brake rotors,pads,calipers,control arms,tie rods,stabilizer links,steering wheel coupler mainly because West Virginia roads suck and as you can tell I'm married to this car now there is no divorcing it and I love it no matter what Scotty Kilmer says about KIA. I can't wait to put a KN on it actually.

Damn. I have a 2012 2.0L Manual and it easily throws like 35HP more than that! Automatic Transmission really slows it down a lot!

Also, please tell me the default air intake height (measured from the ground) vs. K&N's air intake height, I want to see how much (air intake)ground clearance I can gain from this in flooding situations. Also, if you have the same height measurement for a 2012-2017 Kia Rio5(3rd generation).

It depends.. Some customers say they can feel the difference, others don't. You can try the filter for 30 days, and if unsatisfied, you can return for a full (product) refund.
