Wow great video! I wish I would have seen this before yesterday. Paid 90$ to have the filter changed AND have an anti-bacterial treatment done since there were parasites growing in the air ducts.

Great video. Changed mine today, and there was actually a live stink bug in it! Easy job. Thanks. Mine is a 2010 also. Looks just like yours, only cocktail Orange. Same racing stripe. Mine is a five speed manual transmission though. I love my Kia SOUL.

The insert from TYC doesn't show where all the screws are and it doesn't say which direction the air flow arrow points (to left from Right). Thank you so much for your excellent directions. In Kodiak, the cabin air filter was filthier than the engine one. [Don't wait until winter to change filters.]

My 2010 KIA Soul just turned 10k miles. And I'm a cheap bastard. How long can I wait until I change it? The car is junk. But like an old mongrel dog, I love it. The undercarriage is made with cheap, thin, steerage and stabilizer components. And the estimated mileage numbers were a big lie, unless you are traveling down hill. But thank you for this post and video. It all helps, especially these days.

2010 Soul has a 4 speed right? My wife's gets the mileage we expected, but it's a 2012(6-speed). Never listen to advertised mpg anyway, I don't know why Kia and Hyundai got singled out, but every single American company does it, and they get away with it. Can't speak for the other foreign companies. They seem accurate, but that could be a recent thing. Are you getting the fuel reimbursement checks? If not, look into it.

Josh Sheffield What fuel reimbursement checks? huh? I'm in Fl. Back to NH in a month. KIA stays here year round. I just bought a spare battery to use as a battery pack in case the original (2009) craps out. I run a little trickle charge on it. I love my KIA. But it's junk and tinny.

Josh Sheffield It's an automatic transmission. The ride and shifting is noticeable. Similar to old clunkers. Not a smooth shift at all. I'm use to MB and big pick up trucks. My 1994 RX-7 is a five speed. Pocket rocket.
