Here is the full review of 2020 Kia Sportage, Pakistan. We took the all New Kia Sportage 2020 for a test drive and showed a POV perspective from the Driver’s seat as well as from the POV of rear passengers. Our audience has been asking for the new Sportage review ever since it was launched in Pakistan. So, we bring you a detailed review with its road test, POV drive and engine performance based on the acceleration of Kia Sportage from 0-100 km/h.
🔴 Performance of Kia Sportage 2020
Kia Sportage is a compact SUV with a 2.0L petrol engine which produces 157HP & 196NM of Torque. From our acceleration test of Sportage 2020, we felt that the initial acceleration is outstanding however, the car becomes less responsive close to the speed of 100 km/h.
🔴 Practicality of 2020 Kia Sportage
During our POV test drive of Sportage, we realized that it offers class-leading front and rear visibility with no major blind-spots. Our extensive road test of the new Sportage revealed that the independent rear suspension of Kia Sportage 2020 is a great utility which absorbs the impact of pot holes and bumps.
🔴Sportage POV Drive, Comfort features & Road Test
We also extensively covered the driver’s POV during our review. We are happy to report that the new Sportage offers outstanding quality of seats (fabric & leather). They also come with electronically adjusted lumbar support for the driver. Similarly, steering feels great and the layout of buttons on the steering wheel is very intuitive.
🔴 POV Drive & Road Test of Sportage 2020
During the Road test of Sportage 2020, we discovered some of it’s interesting features like the low-speed cruise control, which can be engaged at speeds of 30 km/h. This means that you can use cruise control in city traffic on your Sportage. It is important to note that it does not have an Adaptive Cruise Control, and driver would have to manually brake everytime there’s a car or an obstacle in the way.
🔴 Differences between 2020 Sportage All Wheel Drive (AWD) & Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
There are 2 variants of Kia Sportage 2020 in Pakistan, i.e. AWD & FWD. FWD is the entry level variant whereas the AWD is the fully loaded variant. The key 5 extra features in AWD include:
- All Wheel Drivetrain
- Perforated leather seats
- Electric Trunk Opener/Closer
- Front Parking Sensors
- The spare wheel has an Alloy Rim

Still something is missing including the screen size. The speedo meter looks like from 80s to 90s. It doesn't give you anything you desire like while driving the car even in day or night. 3rd the dashboard isn't promising that it should be its very simple i would say its just okay not the best. There is no cvt transmission in the car that's also a minus point. As you guys said speed sensors for door locks missing also the fog lights if you look what kia has launched in other countries. There is one more option you guys didn't mention in the difference is for the guys who likes to travel north of pakistan or people who are living on the mountains is hill assist. This option is in alot of other local cars but there is one thing that kia has given for the first time in local assemble car is DAC down hill assist controle. It really helps you while coming down from a hill it gives you engine braking you dont need to worry pushing your brake pedals hard to avoid the serious conditions as the brake failure. Overall exterior is amazing with 2.0 litre engine. My opinion i would never go for fwd saving only 6 lac of rupees you are missing some key features. A great review guys thanks for it. Lets see if kia has to make some changes to make it best suv in pakistan.
