Hello, I need your help, I have a kia sportage 3 1.6 gdi 2014, I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and now the central locking with the memory key does not work, the front led daytime running lights do not light up and the park sensors do not work when you put it in reverse. what is the error? what common fuse? please help thanks

Hi! I have a 2011 Sportage diesel with keyless go system. So for to start, I push the start button, and the car control the glow plug heating time and activate the starter by itselfe. My issue is that the glow time is far too short so the glow plugs does not get heated well enough before the starter activates. So the starter is running and running without to start the engine. The glow plug light comes on, but for a very short time...just like 2-3 seconds before starter activates. It is now negative 10*Celsius here, so the glow plugs has to heat for a much longer periode for it to start. If I push start button and make the glow plug heat time rund and then push button again at ones the starter begin to run, the starter stops, and I repeat that process several times for the glow pugs to heat for several times before I let the starter run it's period, then the car starts. I expect this to be a faulty glow plug relay or a faulty glow plug control unit if there is that kind in the system. Is it the relay itselfe that control the heating time, or is there a separate glow control unit in the system...and if so...where do I find that control unit? It is a bit hard to understand your explanation video since you only explain many of the different units only by letter abbreviations. Thank you in advance.

Hello. I have a 2013 Kia Sportage that has issues with the fog lamp; when the fog lamp is switched in the “on” position the lights do not turn on but in the gauge cluster is does show its on. When you move the blinker stock, where the fog light switch is on in the certain position the lights do work. Is this a fuse issue? Wiring connection? Help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there, from what you explained, I think it could be from the switch itself or connector on the switch.

Hello I can't lock the doors with the smart key and the trunk lid can't be opened. could it be a fault with the relay or what do you think?

Hello please i have kia Sportage 2013 with bcm problem the scan tool can't read the bcm, but after i put used one it works for a short time and it comes again, and now the scan tool can't read the bcm and ecu please i need your help

Hi there, BCM should not make any problem for ECM connection as these two are using different ways to connect to the scan tool, ECM uses CAN-Bus and BCM connects to the scan tool using K-Line, any way, my suggestion at these point is to check the BCM connectors, specially those ones carrying the power supply, ground and K-line, I will send the wiring diagram for Sportage 2013 BCM right here.

Hi there, that model does not have any fuse for fog lamps, it has been changed to IPS (intelligent power switch) which is located inside the interior fuse box which is not replacable.

No, recall is for ABS 1 and ABS 2 fuses that both are located in the Multi-Fuse in the engine fuse box.

Flasher relay?

On this model of Sportage, headlamps fuses are in the multi fuse located in the engine fuse box, it’s actually the long fusible part in the fuse box which has multiple fuses inside.

Sure, some of the fuses are located in a multi-fuse as an assembly so if something happens for one of them, you have to replaced the whole multi-fuse. You see that in the engine fuse box which is a long black part with two bolts on the sides.
