Female here and Stinger GT all day every day. Love the heck out of mine. Modded mine with full custom exhaust, intakes, wind booster, sway bars, snorkels. Came from Acuras and call me crazy but this is definitely my favorite.

I own a stinger, I’ve owned both the 2.0 4 cylinder with 255hp , now I own the 3.3 v6 gt with 365. I’ve drove both the Kia k5 gt line and new 2.5l 22 stinger with 300hp. In my honest opinion the k5 is a decent car in terms of drivability, but not for the price, if you wanted to be fair it’s more in the class of a forte gt. I personally got my 2020 stinger with 8k miles for $27k. It all depends on area for value. stinger is way more of a drivers car respectively. 🏎💨

@@snotellekS bacuse that 300hp shit is squeezed tf out if you try to go higher you will definitely have reliability issues plus the stinger is twin turbo so less lag and it also has more commodities and a better interior plus its a hatchback with a power trunk with the stinger you can definitely get more out if it without opening the engine than the k 5 plus it looks better

I love the stinger.. I've had mine for a lil under a year.. it has not disappointed me at all I fell in love with it instantly the AWD is where it's @ loves how it handles just got it tinted.. it's hard to peal myself outa the car

thanks for commenting I work in the sales department at a Nissan dealership which is where I get most of the cars. The other manufacturers like these Kias for example are allowed through friends and connections at different dealerships in my area

K5 looks better IMO, but I love everything else about the Stinger, the power, the interior gauges, more luxurious. Either way they are amazing.

So depends on your preference....I always go with the idea to buy the most expensive one, pay for the cheaper one and invest the different ✍

The K5 GT sitting in my driveway is a blast to drive! Not boring as he's saying about the less powerful GT-Line. Will I keep up with a Stinger GT, with its 2 more cylinders and 1 more turbo? Of course not. But, my GT certainly feels like it will get out ahead of nearly anything else on the road with 4 cylinders. And, my loan is for considerably less than the Stinger. This isn't a bad video, but it's not a fair comparison. No one in the market for a car will be deciding between these 2 cars. They might be deciding between the Stinger GT-line and the K5 GT, but not the other way around (these 2 variants). That said, I like his coat, and respect his work with the Chainsmokers.

I got the 2022 K5 gt line wolf grey. I also actually work at the plant where we make them in west point Georgia! I love it but was thinking stinger but I really don’t want to pay that much 😂 but the K5 does have awesome gas mileage so I’ll probably stay with it! It is fun to rip it in sport mode though it is very peppy for what it is.

@@carsunlocked I work there and had no idea they made them with the 2.5 engine. I know we make awd because I see the underbody before it gets painted I can tell by the trans tunnel. But from what I hear they are rare and hard to get. None of the dealers around here in ga have them I’d trade in in a heartbeat

The music is distracting throughout the video. It’s a great intro song but not so much through the rest of the video. The video would be better without the loud music while you’re talking IMO. Your comparing apples to oranges with the trim levels you are presenting. You would have to compare the K5 GT vs. the Stinger GT-Line. About the same amount of horsepower. FYI you get more features with the K5 GT than the Stinger when comparing these two models. k5 GT also has 19" rims, so seriously, your not doing a good comparison.

I've had my 2011 Optima since 2013. Bought it with 18k miles on it. It now has 154k miles. I've loved every minute of the 2.4 it has before I hurt my back. But now, I almost cry everytime I get in and out of the car, because of how low the car sits. I was hoping this video would help me differentiate these 2 cars, but they both look like the same exact car as far as overall total height goes and height of seating position. Guess I might have to finally consider getting a SUV, instead. :(

This is such an unfair comparison. Why compare a V6 Twin Turbo powered car to a vehicle that doesn't even make 200HP?? A fair comparison would be the base model Stinger that makes 255HP vs the top line Kia K5 GT (not the Line). When you ask the question of "should I spend the extra", that extra should be no more than like $5-8K, not $17K.

Same!! Stinger is a great car but the only one worth even considering is the twin turbo. Which is well out of my price range and therefore the K5 wins in my book. Secondly i am not as big a fan of the Stringer's Retro stlying. No panoramic sunroof either on the Stinger which is another dock. Love to have both but for the money K-5 is the better deal here.
