Don't know about other countries, but in Croatia Kia set absolutely ridiculous prices - Stonic with plain 1.4 100 hp engine is about 19.000 Eur. For about the same amount we can buy Suzuki SX-Cross 1.4 Turbo with 140 HP, equipped with adaptive cruise control and other bells and whistles.

Rodjeni to je previse !! U Makedoniji pocetna cjena je 12.990e, 1.4 100ks motor je 14.600e. Mislim da je to sasvim korektno.

Price on Stonic in my country is very pleasant.. I'm getting a 1.0 top trim Stonic with everything they provide, with full leather interior and metallic brown color for 19800€. I think it's a reasonable price for such car with 7y warranty. What do you think, guys?

I miss your usual note about consumption. H/K motors are famous to be worse than competition in that regard.

I must have forgotten. Obviously, it wasn't what KIA promises, but it wasn't terrible. In 4:00 you can see it's 5.9 L/100 km. This is a mixed cycle figure I got driving this car for a week.

Too expensive... they lost their mind, that 1.2 petrol is not enough even for rio. When it comes to steering feel, I had the same feeling in kia pro ceed mk1 that I owned, their steering is really bad in my experience. But I like that they have front mid arm rests in every equipment level.

I test drove it last week. Disappointed The suspension to hard The acceleration was lagging despite putting the acceleration petal down. It was this lag that put me off from buying it

Heated wheel is good. Kia Stonic is not worth the two grand premium over the Rio...it's only got a 70mm raised ride height over its little brother and that's no good for bad knees and doesn't give the lauded 'command' driving position with vision advantages either.

Stonic L = Rio XL, so it's not so much difference in price.

Here's my opinion, as someone who didin't stand the disign and fuel ineficiency of any SUV. I live in Romania and most of the roads are bad. In the city there is lack of parking space and i often need to clime the sideways kerbs, also i find lots of steep angles on the road. I also find bad roads and most of the above roads problems in my trips aroand europe. I currently drive a vw golf and is painfull to always scratch the protectiv shield added aftermarket, i'm always concer I will brake something underneath. For these reason i seriosly consider buying this type of car next since the added ground clearance solve most of the above problems. I know it will be worst then a golf in term of driving dinamics and fuel economy but its a good compromise. That's my take of why these become so popular nowadays
