The guy looks and talks like a mechanic but gets this completely wrong. Dial up the nice lady on the other Kia site. I have bought a spare (not a space saver for long journeys > 100 miles)

I pressed the yellow button and now when I hook the compressor to my tire it lets air out instead of putting air in

Lol....dude you need to hook the compressor up to the sealer can and turn it upside down to get the sealer in the vehicle Tire
