Still very grainy. Use the cuticle pusher to pour powder on nails. The brush makes it patchy.

Maybe if the powder would’ve been brushed off after every layer it wouldn’t look so granulated... I think it’s from the excess powder

Alexandra M I use Gelixer no wipe top coat after #3 but after filing and smoothing nail. The #4 is very granulated so you’ll be fine if u use gel no wipe after n cure it

Can i use dipping powder with acrylic monomer as acrylic powder? Will they do the same thing as acrylic powder & liquid monomer do to our nails?

dip powders are acrylic too just a finer powder. Yeah I assume you can use either one. Dip powder looks smoother with less filing.😊

Nice but how long do a set like this usually last? I never used the dip powder before it kind of reminds me of a silk wrap & those are not as strong as acrylic

Chanel Delamata hi, in the uk we have a well known brand of dipping powder called nexgen, that's generally the term everyone uses when going into a salon, dipping powder is far stronger for your nails, hard wearing and is actually meant to be healthier than using acrylic, but with any product if applied well and maintained can be strong, I always have nexgen and have never had acrylic since and that's been around 6 years now xx

Chanel Delamata I've been using kiara sky (and have used nexgen) as a professional this is a must! My kiara sky nails have lasted 4 weeks b4 and I only took them off bc there was too much growth.

I live in south carolina and everyone has been doing the dip powder, unfortunatley my boss will not buy the system so he has lost a lot of business, but they are soooo much prettier than acrylics :)

Warning do not do these nails if you are sensitive to chemicals I had to take. My set off within 2 days and it hurt so bad then my skin on my hands swelled up and my hands and fingers peeled and blistered for 2 months very painful. My nails are still in bad shape very thin and a couple are looking deformed at the base this stuff is horrible
