When I used press on nails I used those glue tubs and always getting the glue on my fingers and either they stick together or my finger would stick to the nail I'm gluing on. What a nightmare.

The glue is a regular press on glue! I do feel like this glue is a bit different (and stronger) than other nail glues I’ve tried before

LOVE YOUR VIDEO! These look great and save some much time instead of sculpting nails. I must get! do you think some of the simpler designs may be filled in w/acrylic. And if the sizing is a bit off or they're a little too long do they seem like they can be filed without causing unwanted damage to them? TIA

Thank you! 💗 I honestly am unsure of filling in press on nails, but there might be a way to do it properly. I do think you can adjust the size by filing them, I didn’t have issues when I cut the length of the instigator press ons down.

Did you find that these feel a little stronger than a regular press on nail since it is acrylic ?? I’m looking into buying them but I’m on the fence I was doing the gel x nails and I hate how thin they always are I used to do the dip nails but I’m allergic to something in the glue for the powder so I switched to gel x and they were ok but I miss having that extra thickness on the nails

I do feel like these press ons were pretty durable! If you’re allergic to dip liquids, you can actually do dip powder with gel base coat instead of the dip base! I have 1-2 videos using the gel method on my channel

Can I use a uv gel lamp to dry them instead of clamping them?

This is acrylic so there’s no need for a lamp! I also don’t recommend applying any type of Press ons with a gel (unless they’re 100% clear)

To remove the acrylic method press ons, you’ll first cut down the length, file a good amount of product off of the surface, then soak in acetone!

How hard do you press these down? Do you have acrylic spillage on the sides?

Very similar pressure as gel-x! You don’t want any air bubbles, but also don’t want all of it to spill out. I did have a little, but most was coming from the underside!

No, the acrylic would adhere too well. You’d need to soak them off as a normal acrylic set!

How long did they last? I’m more interest in the acrylic primer and top coat that’s supposed to go with these. Or at least I think so. I can’t find enough information over those 2 bottles… been trying for a year!

With proper nail prep, the press on application with acrylic should last you about 3 weeks. The nail glue, about 2 weeks. And the sticky tabs about a day! I’ve never tried Kiara Sky’s acrylic primer, but I do have to say their Gelly tip prep & primer has prevented lifting in my manicures so well compared to not using it.
