What a thorough breakdown of the Soft Natural type! I'm really impressed with how much work you put into this and the photos are very helpful. I am SN, leaning more Fergie than Scarlett, but I'm 66 so my waist has thickened. I also don't have a Romantic essence so I'm actually really uncomfortable in deep V necks, etc. Plus my hair is fine and not thick enough to grow long. So some of the typical SN recommendations don't work for me. I guess every SN has to figure out what works for her and adjust accordingly. Thanks again for an excellent video!

I am a soft natural and loved your view over this type! I have a strong classic essence and I am really petit, 5’1 feet , although with a moderare vertical line! So I would love to see some ideas com acomodanting short hight and classic essence in a SN body type!

This was beautifully done. The original Kibbe guidelines, while a helpful start, tend to obviously cater to a specific coloring at certain points. That in itself is problematic and not helpful. Your suggestions really helped correct a lot of these issues so that the body guides can be better applied. I appreciate this video❤

This is really good. I have been trying to figure out whether I was flamboyant, natural or soft natural cause i'm quite curvy. I really got a big butt definitely. When I was younger and skinnier, it was somewhat hourglass. But I have big eyes in on ingnue, everybody always thinks i'm so young. I know there was a girl that had natural and ingenue in your video. I think I look good in soft natural fabrics and pants that are like linen or cotton and kind of flow over the body. It always makes me look a really good And smaller and curvier. It looks good when I wear crops sweaters. But I think I look best with a pixxy cut As long as it has texture. I definitely have cool undertones. I definitely don't look good when I wear ornate Eye makeup. I've had a hard time figuring out my type. I'm not super tall, 5 7 - 5 8 When you have that girl with the big eyes I think her name was laura, I don't know the actress? She had both natural and ingenu and reminded me a lot of my face, I definitely have romantic in my face as well. The essence stuff really helps to understand but there's different types with the essence.

I think your added notes are so helpful. I wouldn’t be caught dead in pastels or most bright colors. Your color season determines your best colors, not Kibbe body type

I have spent several years, trying to figure out the descriptions that you just gave! 😂 And you added a few that I hadn’t come up with for myself. Well done! The only one I vary from a bit is that I tend to wear slightly chunkier shoes, especially when I am carrying more weight. Just a little heel or platform or texture, etc. seems to help me feel more in balance.

I think you've identified the wrong Fergie here. Kibbe typed Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York) who is nicknamed Fergie. Though Fergie the singer could also be an unverified SN

You have confirmed for me that i am soft natural. I always knew I was a natural but because my hair is thin (and now gray) I have mostly worn it short and i feel like it plays the yang card too much so i wondered if i was flamboyant….I WISH I KNEW WHAT TO DO WITH MY THINNER GRAY HAIR! IF YOU EVER WANT TO DO A GRAY HAIR video I would appreciate it!…..PS when I look back at all my favorite outfits of a lifetime they all fall within these parameters. Now I sew and it is far too easy to get seduced by cute little perky prints. I have to be disciplined.

So, question for you when it comes to print for the body types. I have a soft natural body type, romantic essence but I also have ingenue/gamine . For these essences a tiny print is recommended. Big prints age me a lot. I guess I just kind of get confused when people mix in essence terminology with body type terminology. I thought that a combo of both is what makes the look work is the case that it really just depends on the person then?

Depends on how much of those essences are your dominant,if is the large scale essence dominant, than you'e gonna use more large scale prints, if they are almost the same percentage,than medium size might be better,or medium-small/medium-large.

You can always do a regular, repetitive print on a larger scale. That would honor your frame and essence
