I have spent several years, trying to figure out the descriptions that you just gave! 😂 And you added a few that I hadn’t come up with for myself. Well done! The only one I vary from a bit is that I tend to wear slightly chunkier shoes, especially when I am carrying more weight. Just a little heel or platform or texture, etc. seems to help me feel more in balance.

I always knew I was a natural but because my hair is thin (and now gray) I have mostly worn it short and i feel like it plays the yang card too much so i wondered if i was flamboyant….I WISH I KNEW WHAT TO DO WITH MY THINNER GRAY HAIR! IF YOU EVER WANT TO DO A GRAY HAIR video I would appreciate it!…..PS when I look back at all my favorite outfits of a lifetime they all fall within these parameters. This video has been so clarifying. I was really struggling to decide my body type because I did not relate with what I thought was the associated essence. I think I am flamboyant natural but I really relate to the ingenue essence. I didn't think I could be my body type because my essence didn't seem to match. This is really freeing to me. I noticed that Reese Witherspoon looks like she's had somethng done to change her chin, which makes her face look more Classic than Gamine. As she got older, she embraced more of a Classic look too.

I think staccato lines, color blocking & bright colors work so well for Lupita because she is high contrast, which can be seen in the contrast between her rich dark skin, white teeth, & the whites of her eyes.

I love Erykah. I think she has dramatic essence as well. Which is super cool, considering she's 5'0 tall.

I’m still confused about Kibbe’s width, looking at Jada as you said she is visibly wide, as I am. How come she does not have kebbe width? I’m only 5’ 1” but I visibly have width and also have from time to time to accommodate my shoulders to a bigger size. I’m a small but I have to go for a medium size sometimes on jackets and blazers but not all the time. My shoulders are visibly wider than the rest of my body and I didn’t now that you could look wide and not have kibbe width. I’m very confuse now. Do you have any other tips on understanding width?

This is really good. I have been trying to figure out whether I was flamboyant, natural or soft natural cause i'm quite curvy. I really got a big butt definitely. When I was younger and skinnier, it was somewhat hourglass. But I have big eyes in on ingnue, everybody always thinks i'm so young. I know there was a girl that had natural and ingenue in your video. I think I look good in soft natural fabrics and pants that are like linen or cotton and kind of flow over the body. It always makes me look a really good And smaller and curvier. It looks good when I wear crops sweaters. But I think I look best with a pixxy cut As long as it has texture. I definitely have cool undertones. I definitely don't look good when I wear ornate Eye makeup. I've had a hard time figuring out my type. I'm not super tall, 5 7 - 5 8 When you have that girl with the big eyes I think her name was laura, I don't know the actress? She had both natural and ingenu and reminded me a lot of my face, I definitely have romantic in my face as well. The essence stuff really helps to understand but there's different types with the essence.

I wonder why there is no type that fits if the answers are mostely D/E but also many C. I feel like I'm between soft classic and romantic. There is nothing sharp on me, just some things that are only moderately rounded. I'm definitly no "sex bomb" or radiating sensuality. Clothes that are too much romantic overwhelm me, like ruffles of puffy sleeves. Puffy sleeves make my shoulders/upper body look like hulk. Carmen necklines, boat necklines, of the shoulder necklines look bad and make my shoulders look broad. V neckline an T-Shirt looks always better than rounded. I can pull of red very god, als long as it's not too orange. Allthough my colour palette ist soft summer, I can wear quite warm and bright reds (a little darker works even better) and get many compliments. Which I heard is a typical romantic trait. My best feature always was balance, that everything fits together, even at different weights. Allthough some parts are quite "large" (my feet are very broad, I have a quite big bust, bracelets are usually to short for my wrists, my calves are always to wide for boots...) nothing of this catches the eye. Poeple need to see the measurements with their own eyes to believe it. Also I usually look about 2 clothing sizes smaller than I actually am. Every dramatic style (not kibbe dramatic, just intense) or make up looks off and like playing dress up or trying too hard. But If I go for the soft classic look than that's too stiff, too formal. It's not completely bad, but not my best. If I combine both, symmetry, somewhat clear lines, put togehter but not too much dressed up, waist definition but not emphasis with round laces, body hugging or draped flowing lines, a-line skirts, v-necklines, moderate cowl-necks, body hugging wraped tops, roses, soft waves/curls in the hair and around my face...that seems to work the best. Not too polished, it needs more softness and dreaminess than all the soft classic recommandations. But it needs to be plainer/more subdued and clearer and in most parts more symmetric than all the romantic recommandations. Oh, and for possible soft natural: long and flowy, oversized, loose looks very off on me, I get drowned in it and look sloppy. I'm playing and experimenting and learning with kibbe (and somewhat essences) and my colour palette (soft summer) for about a year now. Realised some interesting things. Since I considered all the classic parts (and soft colours) and my associations with it as undesired for my whole life, I always looked awkward no matter what subculture or style I tried. It was eye opening to see what I can look like. But still the kibbe system does not work out all the way for me. Does anyone have recommandations or thoughts for me? Do I just have to go on with an unexplainable mix between classic and romantic?

IMO Lupita has width. And she's not loosing her waist when gaining weight and her weight gain is more prominent on her hips/upper legs then on her upper body,. I would say she's a SN.

As a soft classic this was very detailed and so well done!! Very helpful to see all the differences . I think Lupita is a true summer (color season) which is why the bright colors look so amazing on her. I am a soft summer. I notice the more simple I dress the better. I think I have a natural essence which allows me a bit of play but boring is best I guess 😂.

People are always so shocked by the I say i'm 45, People always guess that i'm 30 not even 35 but always around 30. I have ingenue essence, I think it is wise not to have plastic surgery with this essence. I feel that way about everybody though. In most cases, your nose or mouth or whatever it is goes with your other features. And to mess with it usually doesn't look right. I didn't know what it was till recently, my mom has a too. We have big eyes and rounded features. I'm actually fn Body type, at least that's what I think. When I first started to learn about kibby, I thought I was like romantic or something until I found out you couldn't be tall. Because i'm curvy and have big eyes and big lips, my face does not look like a natural face. Only when I found out about essence did things start to make sense. I've never heard this perspective where It's referring to the way we talk and everything about us, not just the looks. I would thing that's mostly true, When I look back on the people i've known and their essences

I've noticed that the clothing for this type often cuts the body into 1/2 instead of the common recommendations for fashion that is thirds.

I'm still confused... honestly all these questions are all relative and every quiz even if they have pictures they're different from one quiz to the next so it just shows it's all subjective. Without more specific and objective descriptions and criteria, it's really not helpful and next to impossible to judge ourselves impartially. For example, for question 2 the shoulders, I really can't tell what the difference is between options C to E. Are we looking at the slope between the neck and the shoulders? Or only the shape of the shoulder joints? They all look the same to me!
