Which Kibbe body types look good on no make-up make-up look and subtle make-up?

This was so helpful - anything I've found re: flamboyant naturals usually shows an extremely sinewy Cameron Diaz as example, which is unhelpful for those, like me, who is not stick thin. The examples you chose really highlight the athletic frame and healthy, more heavy muscle that this type seems to typify. I was unsure if I was a soft natural before because I do have more thickness, but looking at this it is the athletic bluntness I'm seeing, not the slightly romantic softness of a soft natural.... thank you for being so thorough in your guides, you've done really great work!!

I definitely am flamboyant gamine but I usually don’t enjoy wearing a lot of the recommended clothes. I don’t enjoy fitted items, and too much detail can look like I’m wearing a costume. Often the recommendations are too funky for me. Especially dresses. I don’t like mini length and fitted styles, but the ones that are comfortable are not as flattering. It’s a never ending struggle. It’s usually an issue with function over form.

I'm a gamine for sure. I don't have enough softeness to be a soft gamine, but my hips are wide enough to be accommodated. Flapper dresses don't look good on me because of that. Overall I can use most of the FG recommendations. But I have to adapt to my case.

Anyone have advice on how to not look “dated” or older than I am dressing this way? I’m 35 and want a “fresher” look rather than mimicking old Hollywood man-eater diva style. I often feel like a golden girl from the early 90’s.

What if you are a dramatic classic with low contrast Features? Dark lips for example never suit me. same with dark hair.

I’m a short waisted broad shouldered DC with a 100% classic face (which largely contributed to my Kibbe test result).My arms are long and I’m a little bit taller (5’7 1/2”). How do I know I did the test right? The recommendations for DC suit me. I thought maybe I’m a FN or something, but the clothes recommended for the type do not suit my body type. for some reason I'm really wondering about Tilda Swinton belonging in that category. For sure, she's is very elongated etc. But seeing some pictures taken from close up, just her face, no distracting outfit or hair style: she has very delicate features. Yes, sharp, but not protruding or "coming at you" . seems to me that her outfits are hard shells hiding a very finely chiselled diamond. Maybe that's where essence comes into play

Karlie Kloss looks like some kind of natural to me with her blunt wide shoulders and blunt nose. The pure dramatic stuff looks a bit severe on her.

I have spent several years, trying to figure out the descriptions that you just gave! 😂 And you added a few that I hadn’t come up with for myself. Well done! The only one I vary from a bit is that I tend to wear slightly chunkier shoes, especially when I am carrying more weight. Just a little heel or platform or texture, etc. seems to help me feel more in balance.

I always knew I was a natural but because my hair is thin (and now gray) I have mostly worn it short and i feel like it plays the yang card too much so i wondered if i was flamboyant….I WISH I KNEW WHAT TO DO WITH MY THINNER GRAY HAIR! IF YOU EVER WANT TO DO A GRAY HAIR video I would appreciate it!…..PS when I look back at all my favorite outfits of a lifetime they all fall within these parameters. Now I sew and it is far too easy to get seduced by cute little perky prints. I have to be disciplined.

Is it common for dramatics to look 'off' in sleeveless tops? Or to look like the hulk in anything spaghetti strapped? Both of those make my shoulders look gargantuan :/
