NCT is quite a big group ( they had 23 members but three of them left so now there is 20 members) they have members from all over Asia so it’s like a mixed group not just Korean members NCT is divided into 5 subunits and they all come together (the members) at the end of each year to make a whole album / comeback with them all in it NCT’s Leader is Taeyong and he is a part of 127 The subunits are : -NCT 127 (one two seven ): 10 official members but preforming as 9 since one member is more active in another unit . -NCT Dream : 7 members and they are like the youngest group but also have 2 members from NCT 127 (Mark and Haechan) -NCT U (united) : this group is doesn’t have fixed members they change according to who fits the song/ album more WayV: Chinese subunit and is the only unit under the NCT group that doesn’t have the NCT name in it bc of problems between Korea and China, also has 7 members (one member left, Lucas) -NCT DoJaeJung : this is a unit formed by three members from 127 (Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo) They only have one album out Perfume and I highly recommend it Songs to check out: Ay-Yo- 127 Sticker -127 2 baddies -127 Love talk-WayV Phantom- WayV Kick back- WayV Broken Melodies - dream Glitch mode- dream Beatbox- dream 90’s love - U Make a wish-U The 7th sense-U

Thanks for the reaction and the honest opinion. I always thought nct’s music is not for everyone (I don't mean in a bad way), but they’re known for experimenting and bringing different things in every comeback, and it's kind of complicated to understand their style, cuz they don't have a defined 'concept', therefore there are many times you may love the song and others you may not, but listening to it 3 more times, will make you love it. They will have new members and a new sub unit soon (nct tokyo). I hope you guys can keep reacting to them!!

Due to how experimental they can get 😅 sometimes I need a few listens 🎶 to really "get" some of the choices 🤔 they have an odd ability to grow on you once you adapt to the song.

nctzens are very used to people not vibing with nct on first listen haha, don't worry. they're extremely talented dancers, rappers, and vocalists who always push the boundaries of what kpop has to offer, so once you're a little more used to their sound, i think you'll start to appreciate them in your own way!

No we both liked the song. Just the beginning was more rock based which I liked then it went into a soft ballad which threw me off. But I still liked it.

SM actually hired a movie fight trainer and martial arts coach to teach the members of NCT-127 how to do the kicks, punches and use the nunchucks, etc. for their "Kick It" MV. If you really want to see how they filmed the MV and song, you should watch the behind the scenes of them recording "Kick It", kzbin.info/www/bejne/naeam6JuZb5-l9U, and the behind the scenes of them filming the MV, kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4CYhZdjmKl3Y6s. You will be even more impressed when you see how much work and detail went into this MV. This might even help you to get to know the members a little bit because they will use their names in the English subs when the members do the behind the scenes interviews while filming. There are 9 members in NCT-127 -- Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer, who is also in SuperM), Taeil (main vocalist), Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper), Jungwoo (main vocalist), Mark (main rapper and dancer, who is also the leader of NCT-Dream and the youngest member of SuperM) and Haechan (main vocalist, who is also in NCT-Dream). And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of a song is pretty much how all of NCT's songs are structured, as well as the majority of SM Entertainment's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM. SM always makes sure to have parts that specifically showcase its group's unbelievable vocal abilities and sections that are designed to show off their amazing dance skills. Also, if you like their dancing you have to check out the dance practice video for "Kick It," kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIaVdXWgha-af5Y, because the MV doesn't even begin to do the choreography justice. Most people don't get all the references to Bruce Lee in "Kick It" (Chinese/Korean title "Hero") even though everything is based on being like Bruce Lee -- hence why they say Bruce Lee like a hundred times in the song LOL -- and black and yellow are Bruce Lee's signature colors -- so, that is why "Kick It" used those colors. (Many say this MV reminds them of the Movie "Kill Bill," without realizing that movie is based on Bruce Lee-style action movies and is sort of a homage to Bruce Lee.) As you may know, the finger move on the side of their nose is a signature Bruce Lee move. Bruce Lee is a Chinese action hero, so even though this is one of the Korean sub-units of NCT, those are Chinese characters you see on the signs in the MV, etc. SM Entertainment is known for having some of the best dancers and singers in the industry. That is just a fact about the type of people SM selects to be a part of its company. You can't be an SM artist without having amazing singing and dance skills. So even the company's rappers receive intense vocal training. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry, who also happens to have some of the industry's top dancers. All of SM's artists and groups are known for having out-of-this-world vocals and perfect harmonies. SM is an expert at finding and developing the best singers and dancers in Kpop.

NCT (Korean: 엔시티; RR: Ensiti; an acronym for Neo Culture Technology) is a South Korean boy band formed and managed by SM Entertainment. If you want a more rock influenced song then try Guerilla by Ateez, there’s also a tiny drum and bass section at the end. NCT now is pretty experimental with their sound, sometimes it’s a smash and other times it’s a pass (at least for me) but overall they have really good vocals and great dancers so it’s always a treat anyway, hope you’ll have fun reacting to them 😊

If you like hearing a live band, I would recommend listening to BTS live since in concert they always opt to have real instruments so it doesn't come out tinny sounding.
