After a few videos I have watched I would keep a close eye on those re-settable breakers as some have found that even when it is tripped either by something causing it to trip or you doing it yourself that it is still allowing voltage through regardless of it being tripped so keep a close eye on it!.

@@offtaptouring2587 Oh Ok. You know that with that size you may only get to about 700 to 800 watts load before the CB trips? Of course you maybe happy with that. If you are wanting to load up the inverter closer to it’s rated capacity you may need to consider a 100 to 120 amp CB. Impressed with your workmanship, very neat.

@@stevecrowe176 A simple rule of thumb is divide your watt rating by 10. For a 1500 watt inverter you would select a 150 amp breaker. This method allows for the efficiency loss in converting DC power into AC power. Fitting an inverter you need to place it s close to the battery (s) as possible, use appropriately sized wire gauge and your batteries have a max continuous current draw rating , in your case, at least 150 amps. If you are a trades person relying on your system to run power tools and charge batteries or a off grid camper running medical equipment get your system designed and fitted by a professional auto electrician. Hope this helps

Can I ask about ventilation? With your insolation and malimin walls to you have any heat issues inside the canopy?

In summer it gets warm in there but does take a while for the heat to penetrate through. I normally just leave the door open once I get to camp

Are you using the KICKASS 12V HiAmp 100A Manual Reset Circuit Breaker or 50A Looking at the 1200w inverter myself from Kickass once I know what circuit I need I'll buy them together

Just a standard one from the net, spent around 90$. Bunnings sell them as well for a good price.
