Had the same exact glitch today too. I got to 0 HP due to fall damage and it glitched I believe the game thinks you have -1 HP and since -1 HP isnt possible it counts you both dead and alive So for example a checklist Is player HP 0? No Is player HP above 0? No now since both of those are no it looks more like this Dead yes Alive yes And since both are active at the same time the crown can still be picked up as you are counted as Alive
