The main difference in my case was that I was allowed in but my 16 year old son was stopped, detained overnight with adult Mexicans in a holding cell, and then made to sign a form like you did to withdraw his application to enter Canada. He had flown from Vegas while I had flown from Asia to meet him there.

I can tell you the approximate date this would have happened to you! Both Canada and USA were missing children from both countries and they made an absolute massive effort ( blitz)to make sure it wasn’t going to happen again. My wife was in the USA shopping and my son and I crossed over to the USA to meet her and we had a note written bye my wife stating we are meeting her in the USA, they did let us cross but not before they called the motel my wife was staying at to double check. Currently that wouldn’t happen to you. Don’t be cross against Canada they were just doing their job. Peace ✌️ to you my friend.

I have crossed the Canadian-US border 100's of times and you definitely "Talked" your way into that search. Not being allowed into Canada plus the jokes and comments will get you searched 99.9% of the time coming back to the US. You have a great personality for a KZbin channel and many of us watch just for that personality, but that Personality is not helpful when crossing thee Canadian-US Border. When they asked if you have this or that,"No" is the best answer. Not "I left my pew pew in Green Bay" When they ask if you ever been arrested. "Yes" not "oh I do all kinds of stupid stuff and been in lots of trouble and I used to be a professional drinker blah blah blah" All that is a red flag. I love this channel and love your show, but crossing the border is a "Yes sir, no sir" situation.
