@itznoah231 they sounded damn good in that mercury Montego I.....I put some fosgate 6x9 in there afterwards and it was to much treble and highs....the kickers had that deeper bass and mids since they 2 way speakers.....💯

Really should make another video strictly bringing awareness to this polarity issue apparently its like this across the board not just on fords and not just cheap adapters there's no telling how many people are riding around with incorrectly wired speakers.

So I installed the kicker speakers and they sound damn good and if your looking for bass then the kickers are what you want.....the issue I had was 1 of the kicker speakers blew NOW IT'S IMPORTANT I mention when I looked at the speaker and the connection somehow "liquid/water" got into the connection and I think that's why that speaker blew....the other 3 speakers still sounded good.....I got the kickers from Amazon so I uninstalled and sent both pair back and now I have the Rockford fosgate 3 way 6x8 and I really don't like those cause of them highs and moderate bass.....sorry to be long winded but if your spending your money I just want to explain in detail....

I feel like you could be mistaken I might be wrong but black is usually negative I can't see where you hooked it to speaker to know for sure. Update upon further research you are 💯 correct which absolutely blows my mind how are these companies could get this wrong even metra of all places and this bad news for me because it means I have to go back in and fix this on mine I think I'm gonna do it the lazy way and do it at the stereo.
