Kicker CX400.1 Amp Dyno and Review

Blew mines on 2 Sony xplod 12s (cxa800) but my cxa1200 has been going strong on four compR since 2019. I just recently upgraded to cxa1800 LOVE MY KICKER

listen best buy is actually the "best buy" so I always look of "open box" so I went to purchase this same Amp but apparently the associate put an 800w Amp I stead of the 400amp. I have the pairs to my L7S10 enclosure I love it

What is your opinion on using this amp CX400.1 to power 1 Kicker CompR 12" sub wired at 1 ohm? I was thinking that since the sub prefers 500 RMS, and the amp produces an actual 500 RMS at 1ohm that it could work? Thoughts? Thank you for your advice.

Can this amp be a good match for a kicker solo baric L7102 in parallel?

It will work! You don’t always have to match RMS I recommend less for new bassheads so less issues happen , until they learn their set up more! Saves ya money in the long run with a slight performance drop!
