Hello, Commissioner here. I won this as a prize in a contest and it shows. This MU has been with me since my early age. The Loud House was my favorite show when it first came out, and I saw a lot of similarities between Lynn and Kick by Kick Buttowski, a show I loved when I was even younger. Over time The Loud House's reputation has changed in a more negative direction, but I have always had a sentimental space with this MU, and when I had the opportunity to make it a reality, I took it. This track is almost how I imagined it in my dreams and I loved it, thank you JPVS for making this track as hard as it is. ❤

I freakin' love Kick Buttowski! And Lynn Loud is cool I guess, I'd have to catch up with Loud House though since I only watched the first season. This would be a fun (non-death) matchup I feel. With cameos from Kick's brother, Kendall, Lincoln, and the other cast members, it could be insanely wacky and DARING! Always love a good rock track. Cheers, JPVS!

Wouldn't have expected a matchup like that to be the result of the Bingo contest. Well, doesn't change much to me as long as the song's good. And is it ? I'd say yeah. Just before I continue tho, as someone heavily unfamiliar with both franchises, let alone the characters, I decided to do what I usually do in that case and take a look at both characters' wiki pages. This means that what I'll say may be wrong as it's based on very limited knowledge I read on their respective wiki pages. Now as I was saying: yeah the track's most definitely quite enjoyable for sure. After reading up on the characters I fully expected something really energetic with hints of a more comical side to the song and the result was pretty much that with a bigger focus than expected on the energetic end of things. The song ends up feeling extremely hype and very sporty which fits the characters as they're both hotheaded and, well, sporty. Doubly fits given that the track also has this distinct "cartoony" feel that western shows tend to have to their OST. It's hard to describe because it's similar to how most anime openings have a distinct feel to them that makes them *feel* like anime but it's the case here too, just with western cartoons and not anime. I'm sure someone familiar with music theory could pin down exactly what makes those things stand out but alas I'm no music theorist, barely even an amateur. If I were to throw guesses as to what makes it stand out that way however, it's probably the very melodic main guitars that play relatively simple melodies but ones that are extremely catchy and very upbeat. And the way the song plays with its melodies and tones also gives it a really nice dynamic. Most of the first part of the song feels like the start of a contest which you could absolutely imagine being one between the two characters given their personalities, something emphasized by the fact that it starts in an almost 40s-long buildup that then leads in a first "active"' segment that still builds up to stuff before the first and only major break of the song that fully ends by the end of the first half. This makes the first half the song feel like the two characters downplaying their opponent and trying to mindlessly outdo them which leads them both to failure, causing them to reconsider their options and how they see their opponent as a worthy enemy to surpass and have fun with for the second half of the song. This is further shown by the fact that the second half of the song is notably more upbeat and joyful than the first one. It sounds like they're not just *fighting* the other but *competing* with them while having fun as they do so. I think that's a really cool dynamic to have in the song as it fits the characters and their franchises and also allows for the song to sound increasingly good as it goes on. Special note for the final segments of the track starting at 2:27. I mentioned before how the whole song had a distinct western cartoon opening feel to it but the final parts of the track manage to convey that even more so than the rest of the track all the while sounding especially good. There's not much to add on it thematically other than what I said before but I still wanted to note it because the quality makes it noteworthy. Overall this track is a more than decent one for sure. From my limited knowledge of the characters, it seemingly perfectly fits them and their personalities by feeling very intense but not outright agressive to showcase their hotheaded nature and it also has a really cool dynamic to it that makes it stand out quite a bit, resulting in a very enjoyable song that's catchy, unique-sounding and extremely appreciable in general. Also, I didn't mention it but the inclusion of Cryo in the track is appreciable and makes the track stand out even more than it would otherwise, I've only started listening to their tracks recently but they do really cool stuff which I recommend to anyone that wants to listen to more VS-related tracks (special mention to Born To Destroy's remaster which I, as a fun fact, was listening to right before this track came out). All in all, truly an amazing job done here to both artists.
