It’s common practice to just drive down the road with the header on the swather, but with Farming Simulators narrow road shoulders and not-too-intelligent traffic, that makes it difficult to do. Another great video!

the side job for you if you can afford it go around your fields and cut down some of those trees and turn them into wood chips. Maybe do something with them Lisa wood chipper if you can.😊

FYI here in the SW corner of the province lentils usually yield around 20-30 bushels an acre. Definitely worth it most years as the price is often quite higher per bushel (they are actually sold by the pound historically ~$0.35-0.50/lbs) and the input costs are significantly lower than wheat or canola

I would love to see some of these extra crops and mechanics added to other maps. I wonder if that's something a mod can do. Like the Anhydrous Mod.
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
Hmm that would be interesting. I know BCBuhler talked about maybe putting out a tutorial on how to do it down the road. I think they are focusing on getting EdgewaterSask released first :)

I've watched this twice......thought it was discussed somewhere (watched a ton of vids lately) but does that swathing give a bonus or anything? Because not really saving anything if a harvester has to go over it again. Again I thought I remember some discussion about it, but maybe I'm imagining it.
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
It does provide a 20% yield bonus.
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
In real life there are other benefits to swathing that can't be fully represented in the game but I'm far from an expert on those farming techniques

It's called Unit Convert and was released by ThundR modding on his itch.io page.

You keep calling them irrigation ditches. They are not for Irrigation they are to drain water off field. So just a ditch haha or water way. Or creek or tile drain. Up there I think they go by slough
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
Heh when I was farming in Minnesota (25+ years ago) we always called them irrigation ditches which is where the field tiles drained into. Never made much sense to me but how I've already heard them referred to and now it's stuck in my head.
@whereisthehabitat7561 Жыл бұрын
Haha funny how some places fight water and others need more
@southsaskmodding Жыл бұрын
Yea a slough is the bigger bodies of water in the fields… and ditches are the little streams…
