That means either one ref they already have has to go running around or they have to hire one just for that purpose which some of these places simply don't have the means for it. At most fields yes and especially for milsim events. Some fields differentiate between 'wounded' and 'dead' depending where you got hit and are a bit more lenient with 'wounded' players talking.

I played airsoft back in HS quite a bit...one of the guys in our group (parents owned the property we played at) was pretty strict when it came to rule-following. Our regular group were pretty honest, but every so often a cousin would show up and not play by the rules...the host played with 30-round mags in his AR-style rifle, but kept a single 100-round hi-cap mag for special occasions. One time a guest decided to shrug off a dozen hits from both me and him, so the host swapped mags and LIT THIS KID UP. It was SO satisfying. People learned to call "hit" pretty quick after 50+ rounds to the back/gut/chest. Love your vids dude! Brings me back to the good ol' days :) I loved playing airsoft when I was into it...wish I had the money to keep going lol xD

I don't know about you but when wearing 2 layers of cloths some of the guns feel like bugs or sticks hitting. you can can take three or four shots to realize you are hit. just like the guy with the bag. maybe this is why some people prefer paint ball, the paint doesn't lie. maybe they will come out with air-soft on impact markers.

if you want to be sure a person take their hits, shoot the ear, if you are at very close range, the back thigh, tip of the fingers or in the crotch, but the ear is the most painful as its almost nothing but brusk and blood, no fat or thick skin to protect it from the shot meaning, it will be extra painful.

6:09 "Dead men tell no tales" is a rule strictly enforced where I play. There's no chat about where enemy was when they killed you back at spawn or anywhere. It will get you put out of the game. These guys ARE cheaters but still. Dead men don't talk.

Pretty hard to enforce though? I mean, sure since it enforces "realism", but after you respawn, you just don't forget where you got shot. At that instance, do you actively avoid the area where you got shot from? Or convince yourself that you forgot that they were there? Since the 2nd option nigh impossible, do you also not give out the info. to your team to avoid that area? What if you're going as a team, then you suddenly say "no I can't go there", then when asked why, you just say "because". I can see the rule being enforced when *GOING BACK* to spawn, not when you're in spawn / leaving it already.

Ive been to one field where "dead men tell no tales" translated to "no recon". But that place also had a 10 foot rule for outside, no rifles inside, no full auto period, and a bunch of other rules designed to 'keep people safe'. It's crazy to understand until it's happened to you, as you may know. I've been two steps away from stepping on someone in a ghillie suit, we both sat there for a solid 10-15 secs before he point blanked me in the foot (boots so it didn't hurt whatsoever). There are times when I got hit and didn't feel anything, or when I was walking through the brush and it wasn't distinguishable from just a branch grazing you. So, sometimes it's not intentional.

Sometimes it hits a buckle or a reinforced part of gear, and you should be able to feel it but it feels like a buckle snapping or sounds like a twig. Wearing things like suspenders or holsters can cause that too. Helmets sometimes they plink right off and the sound gets buried. I'd also contend a lot of hotheads actually white-out a bit. If you tag someone in the face with a large sniper ball, if they have high blood pressure it can cause a quick glycemic event. They felt it, it's obvious, but the fight response kicks in and they can't remember what just happened because it was so shocking. Sometimes you just ring someone's bell and they shut down for 30 seconds. Also a lot of guys think it's friendly fire and are looking for the guy on their team horsing around - when they don't see anyone they just literally can't believe someone wrecked them that bad. They think it had to be a stray. Also a lot of people will be looking to see you gloat and when you don't, it can light em up. Make them question what actually happened. They know it was probably a person, but they're hoping to zero by baiting another shot - not to win the game either, but sometimes because they desperately want to know. Airsoft is a cool sport but it really needs a kick in the pants to be better. The issue is for many of these people they pay to be there so the ref's are incentivized to not kick people out. Add a membership deposit and allow refs to become players to test, with the offer being free games if they took a test shot and bam. Problems solved. It doesn't have to be a huge cheating deposit either, people will hop. That and offering respawn perks often helps. It's a tough game and it really needs to be redefined. A lot of times cheaters just don't want to walk half a mile back. It's a conundrum.

Not sure all was cheating..... Although I agree there was a lot.... I also play as a sniper and have on a number of occasions watched a hit and then see the person look around then at their gun and stand looking confused.... Depending on the clothing and at that range sometimes it is really hard to be sure if you got hit... So I like to give people the benefit of the doubt if they do not flinch - but yeah if I suspect cheating next one is to the face :).

I counted 15 but included the guy calling out to others and pointing at your position. Rough tally goes: 3:30x2, 5:10, 5:50, 11:54, 12:18, 13:10, 13:35, 15:10, 16:10, 16:20, 19:25, 21:07, 18:45 but called, himself afterwards, and 15:20 got hit but not sure if called it. Ghillie suit would be absolutely awesome to get! Great video as always.

I´ve already built my own ghillie suit's all you need is some DPM's some netting some burlap and twine I´ve got ghillie's for artic and jungle and European envioment's and am working on my Desert ghillie now the total cost for a leaf build ghillie is around 35 pound's stirling so if you don't win this competition don't threat you can build your own there's plenty of instructional video's and material online on how to build them ( Former British Army Sniper )

The skill and patience in this video is unmatched, but its hard to say everyone that didnt call themselves out were "cheating". With all the gear/padding you can expect some people who are generally less aware to not feel the hit, which is why i prefer paintballing. Most people would rather call themselves out instead of eating a few more stingers. Sick vids!
