I actually liked Austin’s MITb run. It was kinda like Seth’s in the case he was working both shows and feuding with everyone faces and heels. Too bad everyone knew he would never beat Roman via cash in and he still unsuccessfully cashed on a mid card title anyways. Woulda preferred if Roman was the one to take him out if they even tried that. I felt like the switch up would have been SO much better for him.

I know a lot people hate it, but I liked Theory cashed in on the mid-card title. I think it's a really cool idea that the MITB is a threat to EVERY champion. You never know who he/she might go after. Like many I never thought Otis would get a world title, I actually expected Otis & Tucker to use it to cash-in on the tag titles, that would've been pretty hype and something never done before. Instead he just lost it to the Miz.

Otis winning the Mitb literally made no sense at all like they had top names like Rey Mysterio (Rip he fell off the roof in that match) Daniel Bryan & Aj Styles in that match but Vince went with Otis out of all people Hell I rather Corbin. Well with Theory I was actually okay with it because it was kinda expected it just he should’ve been added too the match instead of a surprise addition but also it was like too early for him to had a push like that hopefully Theory becomes a future star because he definitely have potential

But yeah like I understand why it’s Cena for you because the whole point of the mitb contract is that you can cash in whenever you’re ready so to like announce you going too makes absolutely no sense it defeats the whole purpose of the concept but to be fair Cena was the biggest babyface at the time and his character was just too much of a goody two shoes (respectfully of course because I love Cena) and it did lead to Punk Turning heel on the Rock.

Tbf if they didn’t unify them, we probably would’ve never gotten Cody finishing the story by ending Roman’s historic reign because him holding the WWE Championship was what made him go after him due to it being the title Dusty had taken from him/never officially won & it worked out with the whole Anoa’i Dynasty vs. Rhodes Family rivalry. I think I’ll take sacrificing Austin Theory over giving up the iconic moment we got at WM40.
