One of the main reasons I subscribed to this channel is the realism. Bad hook sets, backlashes, ant bites, etc. And through it all you manage to maintain your discipline and patience to enjoy the full process of lure fishing for bass. I’ve caught two double digit largemouths in my lifetime (64 years) and that is as close to ten as you can get. In my opinion… that’s 10.5 all day long!

Finally I had to walk back on land and drag bass onto land. Lol. It embarrassed him in front of his friends. Dad had it mounted for me.

Quick tip for you man, I like to think I know quite a bit about frog fishing so give this a shot. You want your frog to walk easy and still trim the legs? Trim one leg shorter. It walks incredibly easy. The first pop it always pulls toward the longer leg then you're setup to walk her all the way in.

Second tip. If your bend your hooks up and outward a little bit so they just barely poke your finger when you run it down the side or back of the frog, your hookup ratio will go up astronomically.

Hey Noah, lunkerhunt makes trailer hooks for their frogs. They super improve long distance hook sets with your frogs I went from like 30% land rate to probably more like 70% just putting it on and it just hides in those frilly feet oh yeah they also work one any frog

Pro tip on frogs. Always use a sexy frog and if your not going to slightly bend the hooks up just a bit to help with hook ups.
