@gdholmfirth3 жыл бұрын
@@cinematic35 I love your work and enjoy listening to the finished product. But if you are going to redo this one I might suggest you enhance it just slightly less. This is the only one you have done that I thought would be a little better if you backed off slightly on the enhancement. This is no criticism, your work is great, but this one may be a little less perfect than the others. The best ones are the ones I listen to and can't figure out what you added.

Honest to goodness, I've NEVER heard many of these guitar parts in this song until You Tube came along. I was 12 years old and lived in Spain when this first came out & had not yet started playing guitar. We came back to the states in 1967, so I got to watch their television show. Now, after playing guitar for over 50 years, the guitar parts are pure ear candy - lots of studio production really rounds out this song - always a catchy sort of tune with some nice elements. Well done! Thank you for posting.

Brilliant job, never heard this track sound this good.

Thanks! It gave me a major headache cause I had to work on it 16 hours to get all the sounds to match. There is bongos, clapping, tamborine, extra vocal harmonies, Epiphone electric guitar, 12 string acoustic, keyboard sounds and extra bass guitar. The amazing thing here is that any song by any artist can be done like that! Kenn

Tried that, sounds awefully trebly tho especially in the ssss sounds. It seems as though Apple hasn't gotten around to inventing anything resembling an equalizer or even a treble/bass function for my brand new iPhone. But god damn what a camera? And screen resolution? Friken faaabuuuulous, right? I can't even crank it for long periods such as the length of this awesome song without a warning window popping up, the sound turned way down, by choice of not me i do t know wtf turns it down, the warning window says, "your volume was turned down because we here at apple care about your hearing. This setting is mandatory & can not be turned off. We do this to protect your hearing. Because you stupid we Apple we know whats best for you. We dont care you spent $1,000 loser we still own your fucking phone. Got that? Scouts honor the truth!

1:40 So weird, D major chord against D minor chord bar 3 of the 'soft' bridge section ('No, you don't' need kicks, to help you FACE") which I assume was always there but pushed way back in the mix so the more suitable Dm came out in the final mix. Fascinating...

Never really cared for the line up after the original Raiders left the group and formed their own band Brotherhood. Always thought Freddie Welder was more country and did not quite fit. The Raiders from 1962-1967 produced that hard driving original rock sound with hits like Louie Louie, Just Like Me, Stepping Out, kicks,Hungry,Good Thing,Great Airplane Strike, I'm mean these guy were a true hit making machine that kept the British at bay right in the middle of the British Invasion.
