Tack on $50,000 more for networking and power distribution stuff, then $50,000 for a huge frame to hold it... multiply everything by 2 (cause everything costs twice as much as you expect it to), and you still come out under $1 million.

Yet one phrase would mean: "Pixels bought for 1M$", and after changing one letter in the preposition you'll get "Pixels worth 1M$". Maybe it seems the same, but just like in this particular case, when doing business it's always a good decision to buy for a lower price that the product is expected to gain after being finished. Because if not, what's the point?

a billion pixels display would be impossible with today's technology. the highest display resolution we have now is a 10k display (which is 8k ((4 times 4k)) in 21:9 aspect ratio) by chinese manufacturer BOE. And that display is only 44.2 million pixels. And the human eye has the equivalent of 576 mega pixels. mega pixel = million pixels. Therefore, we will never need 1000 mp display, since the future's displays are all just going to be eye-sized 576 mp lightfields/contact lenses screens
