The giant mecha battle is so glorious I had to write an Amazon review of the novel just to talk about how glorious it is. A giant mecha made out of Heaven itself, fighting a kiss-fueled Statue of Liberty-sized statue of the protagonist, who is also armed with several giant skeleton-fish. How can you top that? I know we'll probably never see the live-action version, but I honestly question if they had the budget to bring that insanity to life. Probably not.
