I believe you meant Jason Popson. This is not a "Mushroomhead VS. Slipknot" thing. This is a "Jason Popson is a great rapper and metal screamer" thing. Look up 10,000 Cadillacs. Also, for a better rap song with Corey Taylor on it, look up "Wither Feat. Corey Taylor" by Tech N9ne.

The fact it is transcending genre barriers, the lyrics, the flow, the song structure itself. Although I agree, Corey's 'rap' is horrible. I'd LOVE to see you do what kid bookie did and be nearly as good.

i have to wait 90 days to change my name I know back when Run DMC's version of Walk This Way feat. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith came out in the 80s, it was played on both rock and rap stations! If anything, I believe that was the first big instance of rock and rap merging, then not long after was Anthrax and Public Enemy teamed up, then Ice-T formed Body Count, and of course, the "Judgement Night" movie soundtrack, which all the tracks were rappers like Ice-T, (I'm blanking here....), teamed up with rockers like Pearl Jam, Slayer, and I wanna say Anthrax, but to be honest, it's been a long while since I've listened to hit, so I can't remember. POINT IS, rap and metal fusions have been around long before this song, contrary to what others besides what you and I think..

And I didn’t mean he sounded exactly like Corey or as good as him (no hate to my bro but it’s Corey lol) I just know metal injection or whatever compared him and his energy, anger and voice in his old band to Corey’s and mate definitely lives up to the name beast mode but yeah Corey Taylor is the true beast mode.

*So crazy what they managed to do here!* As a 40yr old I can say there's not been many examples of this done well. Meaning KB has presented a mostly *straight up Rap/Hip-Hop joint, yet lay a straight up Metal riff on top of that & still meshes with the rest. It still functions as a rap song* after it's introduced. *On that note* I have to,unsurprisingly I'll add, give *Corey* his due props. I believe this is the 1st rap of his I've heard & have to say he *Crushed it!!*

Haters gonna spew jealous remarks at someone's success instead of appreciating the talented and creative minds that are putting stuff out. He's a gifted entertainer that has admiration for many types of music. Proven himself to be a well rounded artist instead of just some angry metal head in a mask. You hate because you don't appreciate. You diss because your mind is like a closed fist.
