For all of you complaining about Neguin choking Kid Columbia, it was obvious from the get go that KC was trying to get into his head by pulling tricks like 1:34, and Neguin even warns him not to get close to him at 1:42 and again at 3:51. Therefore Neguin sent him a message loud and clear, did not even squeeze on the choke.

Collins Ongaya well that's not true. They have competitions and events for power movers so they can win with only power moves. But a lot of people tend to forget that we are doing what we love and what we want to do, and the only people really getting worked up is the viewers on KZbin. These events are great but they are more of a tool to see where everyone's skill level is. No one is going on record saying the want to be the best at every style then only work on one. Don't you think we all know that? And honestly you're pretty much calling our entire culture dumb if you don't think they don't know that already. They don't want to do other things and they don't have to. It's not hurting their career any, they are still recognized all over the world and still loving what they do.

powermovers don't go far as mentioned. This Redbull BC one. Not a powermove cypher or a competition. This is a competition where you need EVERYTHING. Few powermovers like lil g and The End made it to semi finals and finals, only because their powermoves were actually unique and original, like The End's airchair airflare combos.

Neguin all the way. This battle could have gone either way but after watching it a couple times, I think Neguin took it for sure! KC was all power. Not as versatile as Neguin. In regards to the whole choking thing I notice that a lot of bboys when battling Neguin try to get in his face because Neguin comes off as aggressive. However he's aggressive in his dance and not towards people. I've seen some battles and this one included when bboys really try to get in Neguins face. If I was Neguin I'd honestly do the same thing. Since he's a champ people are always trying to step to him. It was a great battle. Congratulations to both bboys!

When I first watched this live, I knew Kid Colombia had this for sure. Renegade even said so! But looking back at it and studying the battle closely, I see why Neguin won. I'm 32 and have been in the hip hop game for longer than many people here have been alive. I'm not a power-head at all, I'm into threads and freezes and flow, but the judges got this wrong. Neguin crashed a bit, and KC was flawless. There was mostly power, but he threw in some blowups and footwork plus, you can't grab a guys throat. I would have beat Neguin's ass right then and there for that shit, and I like Neguin, but I'll stomp you out if you try that choking shit. 100

The only reason why Neguin won was because of the fact that Kid Columbia pretty much used all of his signature moves in the first round and Neguin still had lot more moves leftover especially considering what happened Last Year when Pocket made it to the Semis after beating Menno which was controversial because Pocket had no more moves left in his sleeves and so that gave Bruce an easy win to the Final and took away the Competitive aspect which the semis were supposed to have but this Year the Judges nailed it because the Semis and Final was Great

First, i was a bboy when i was young. I did many filps and floor moves. When i saw this battle. The effort that it takes to make those moves that Kid Colombia did was hard. If u train breakdance at home try to make 1 airflare. It is hard. All the big tricks that cost Kid Colombia more training then the moves that Neguin did, is unfair to give it that big away to Neguin. Okay. Kid should do some more foot works, but still… breakdance is not what is was in the past. I dont like the judges how they pick a side. I think if u put powermove breakdancers to be the jugde u will see who had the win. Because they know how difficult those tricks are.

i think competitive breaking isn't neguin's #1 priority in life, when breaking becomes your career, i.e. super cr3w, judging, and competing, you have good days and off days. Neguin has other passions, such as the married life and music/deejaying and art. You have goals in each stage of your life, such as during adolescence to young adulthood and so on. You can see such changes in every bboy as they age.
