This is sooooo good. The Kid did good in both Cramps and Gun Club. He did what he needed and asked to do in both and very different bands. Great he is keeping these songs alive.

Yeah,I loved both equally-for very different reasons.Cramps evoked a horny,Baker Acted,hyper,backwoods cousin.The Gun Club made me think of someone with an uncanny eye for beauty.Despite that,they brood in their blacklit room after one of their "spells".

Yeah he's so cool and he gives as some great memories back!! saw them first time early 80/81 and had acces to backstage, first I saw Kid vomiting over Patrica Shoes after that he felt backwards and was knocked out til I left them 45min later. But I was a superb gig JLP was the same loaded as Kid... (sadly I don't remember much of anything from 77 me 15 til 95 🍻💊🍻 but it had been the best years of my life) saw them later many times criss cross Western Europe same with The Cramps they never dissapoitend no matter in what bad condition he was but he was tough, once I saw him falling down from 4 or 5 Marshalls - he ignored and finished the gig til the end all my respect - HE WAS THE BEST FRONTMAN EVER - AND I Ivy I would say the best guitar player shemale 100% - and I would say even of all males too - but the was Johnny Thunders so she's ranked in 2nd Have fun mate stay healthy have lots of and may all who sadly left us lucky us we saw the life!!!! It's a short funny little story (more Cramps isn't possible) Kid went there and what they want to like him to play - but they saw him playing in GC in front of 20 people. I by asked no but something else do you want to convince us from being worth to join us? Kid was wondering and didn't knew what to answer asking 'what do you mean with something else? I've answered 'would you like to cut of a finger' Kid still confused replied 'of course' That's who he get into The Cramps Top rated of my fav bands Nick Nox share's first place with Jerry Nolan on 3r Jamie Oliver ex UK Subs - try some videos from 2004/2007 til Covid a bad sad story why he had to leave and 'The real King Charles' Have fun mate and lucky us we saw them so many times

I'd say he was better in the Gun Club. The Las Vegas Story is a better album than Tender Prey or Psychedelic Jungle. And Powers was in the Gun Club till just before they recorded Fire of Love, so probably put down some of the material on teh album. Brian Gregory and Poison Ivy was the best combo for the Cramps. I've never listened to the Good Son album though

Samuel Chapman Agreed. Nothing against the Cramps but there's alot more genuine grit and emotion in Jeffrey Lee's songs a d singing.
