If the only thing in his bag was that Rowland S Howard and Nikki Sudden record, this would still be one of the best episodes of WIMB!

Outstanding!! Now that was incredibly refreshing and highly enjoyable, definitely one of my favorite W.I.M.B. episodes. Brian is a true music lover, incredibly knowledgeable, NOT pretentious, has exceptionally great and varied taste and most importantly, just good people... I just love his passion! And clearly it was a really good day for digging, a lot of gems in that "bag".. many of my faves and some things I still have yet to add to my collection.

I met Kid at a tiny music festival and even got the chance to talk to him for a few minutes. And, man, he's the nicest guy in the world and a true gentleman. While I was completely starstruck, trying to express to him how much I admired him and how much his music meant to me, he just standed there, patient as a monk and cool af, with a genuine smile across his face, holding and shaking my hands, giving all his attention to me and thanking me while I vented all my gibberish. God bless him. He really couldn't be sweeter nor more distinguished. I just wish I said something smarter 😂

Great edition of What's In My Bag! I had the privilege of seeing Kid back in the day during his second tour of duty with The Gun Club, and also with the Pink Monkey Birds in September 2014--both fine shows. It doesn't surprise me that he has good musical taste as well.
