8/17/22. Long time Cudi supporter since I was young. First time I heard KiD CuDi I was 7yrs old it was day n nite and I fell in love. I’ll be 21 in February. Gotta say my favorite albums are MOTM II and SB2H. I probably wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for his music. Yes I still fight the urges of checking out and the negative thoughts and vivid gruesome images and visions in my head to this day. It sucks but I’m stubborn so I’m still fighting. We all go through some shit but please to all who may see this I wish you all nothing but the best! Much love! We gotta be there for one another. It’s a people thing!

When we say Kid Cudi “saved my life”, like man we freaking mean it. Like for people that don’t want to go see a therapist and don’t feel comfortable talking about our personal issues to others. And I know it’s okay to speak about your problems and there’s no shame in it, but some people just aren’t that open. I’m not. So many of his songs I just put on replay so I can get through the day. Just like each one of his albums goes through his range of emotions. When I need self love I listen to songs like Immortal, The commander, Love. When I’m just down I listen to melting, internal bleeding, insides out, wounds. I know I’m biased to Cudi but this dude is my therapy... I hope he just knows how grateful we are for him. ♥️

Scott has saved many people's lives and has really helped me to hold onto mine. His music is something nobody can replicate. I don't know who I would be or what my life would look like if I never had his influence. I've listened to him consistently for about 10 years now, life is lonely and having that person of guidance is truly helpful. I hope that he's living a happy life doing what he pleases. The similarities between man on the moon, and something like Rodeo by Travis Scott are uncanny. Common narrates Cudis album, T.I narrates Travises. Both are about finding oneself, proving people wrong, etc. the only difference I see is the tone. Cudi’s is depressing, Travis is pure anger

Cudi first two albums helped me a lot with my deep depression. Until he stop doing man on the moon albums then I really fell into my alter ego aka Mr. Rager. I did a lot of drugs to cop but looking back at it for a full 11 years I was running from myself since day and nite. That dropped my last year of high school. The song itself defined what I was feeling and speaking. Situations changed my life but soundtrack to my life is my story.

I was like 19 and it was a few years after man on the moon 1 I hadn’t just listened to him I knew of him but I saw the interview one night when I was up in my head the one where he talks about saving kids from suicide and I went and checked him out n I cried tbh cause I felt really alone n like a failure at the time. His music really helped me get out of that mindset. Super dope video I’d love to see a follow up for man on the moon 3. Btw ur videos are very insightful and beautiful.

The only part I disagree with/would word differently is the fact that SB2H was an absolute cry for help, evident in pretty much every song. It seemed like he was on the verge of killing himself at any moment as I listened to it. I don't remember the dates properly, but I thought he went to rehab in between SB2H and PP&DS, not finishing PP&DS until he was out of rehab and feeling happier again. Even then, some time in between those two he released the single "Goodbye" which not a lot of people even know about. Excellent short documentary though I loved it !
