The victim should not fight back ever, but more needs to be done for the victim to enable them to let go of the anger that they feel from being bullied. More need to be done to let the victim see that something is being done to the bully.

Sadly teachers never try to stop the bullying. I got bullied in special needs class. I got bullied because Im overweight. One time on field trip on the bus I was being bullied with teachers there. They didn't make him stop. I was told tell the principal. Principal said I will laugh about it down the road. It's 22 years later and I'm still not laughing. Principal sided with the bully.

Bullying is never OK. If you or you witness somebody getting bullied at school tell a teacher. If they don't do anything about it tell the principal and they don't don't deal with it then tell your parents. It's also important to stand up for yourself. Bullying is very serious and should be taken seriously. If it's not dealt with it will get worst and will eventually lead to suicide. Thank goodness no one was harmed.

I had someone do that to me. My mom pretended it didn't happen. When it got reported nothing got done. I got called names from my own brother growing up and now as a result. I have problems. I can't have friends or even keep them. So I spend my days in my place and I don't really talk to people outside my place. I took all of the stuff that has happened to me and I keep it inside.

Teachers need to start punishing bullying, not just be content with telling bullied children to just ignore bullying. Yes, try to build a bullied child's self-esteem, but that will not blunt the hurt they endure when being bullied. Parents need to supervise their children more and stop even mild practical jokes or bullying that causes even mild emotional or physical pain. Until a person reaches adulthood they do not fully appreciate being able/willing to use self-control with joking. They go too far. Police enforcement need to learn the difference between someone letting them know what authority they do not have and being disrespectful. The officer here has no authority to say when the child stops talking to the parent.

You should never bully anyone because bullying is not the right thing to do. You will get in trouble for bullying someone or if you see anybody getting bullied. You should go find a trusted adult for help because you don't want to deal with the bully on your own.

I wasn't bullied in school at all but something close to bullying happened to me and that was being harassed on the bus during my last year of middle school and it was over something that my cousin did earlier before school let out for Xmas and that was being stupid and throwing a pencil at the bus attendant while I was reading my book. Once I saw the pencil in her hand, I bookmarked the page that I was still reading and tried to stop her only for my words to fall on deaf ears and for her to proceed throwing the pencil at the bus attendant which resulted in all 3 of us being written up ( my cousin, me and a girl on the bus) by the bus attendant who believed that me and the girl were involved when it was actually my cousin who was involved all along. I didn't know I had been written up until I went to school after the weekend was over and the vice principal told me about the write up about my alleged misbehavior. I told the vice principal the truth of what really happened on the bus knowing that my cousin was purposely never going to fess up at all due to her long history of doing things to get me in trouble and making it look like I'm the problem so that nobody finds out that she is the problem. Even though I was exonerated of the false accusation of throwing the pencil at the bus attendant, some of the kids on the bus stopped talking to me because they still thought I was the aggressor even though they saw the whole thing unfold and the bus attendant hated me from then on angry that I wasn't suspended for something that I never even did in the first place. And it gets worse from here, some of the kids on the bus didn't take up for me when two of the other kids mistreated me which resulted in the bus driver taking up for me and the final nail in the coffin was the bus attendant letting three of the kids(the girl who got suspended off the bus because of my cousin and two boys) ambush and hit me (she let them get out of their seat while the bus was in motion) while she stood there with a look of hatred and did nothing to stop them. The bus driver stopped the bus and intervened by suspending all of three of the kids for hitting me over something that was never me in the first place and firing the bus attendant for intentionally letting them pick on me out of spite and spitefully telling the bus driver that I deserved it which resulted in the bus driver standing up for me. The kids apologized to me for hitting me after their suspension was over and things got better for me on the bus.

The problem was with that teacher. The child chose to tell an adult and he did several times and she chose to not do anything. Thats why it led to him bringing a gun. If she would have done something then it would have been a different outcome. That teacher needs to learn to speak up wen a child tells her that he is being bullied. I hate that cop and that teacher
