This just confirmed my theory... all the unwanted items those thief stole must go somewhere! The modus operandi for this type of package thievery are: First, they open a company that sells stuff online. Preferably on Ebay. This would be the base of their operation. Second, they mark other companies selling the same stuff and intercept their packages using an inside man in an actual delivery company, to steal from other people who sell the same thing, so that they would have stuff to sell or stuff that they themselves take. Third, take out the real stuff for themselves and put in fake/ bad stuff, or dump stolen stuff into the package. 4th, doctor the package with care and send them to the buyer.Thus making the buyer feel scammed. If the third step is done greedily, the buyer might end up receiving nothing. If it's a large syndicate, or if they hit a jackpot ,and made a big heist...they would end up with excess stuff so they sell it back online. The other choice is to dump the surplus stolen goods to another buyer, who could not report to the authority... hence, this video. I'd be reporting to the police if were him.
