My goodness, little Jeffrey can play everything, can't he? 😅 The way he's playing at 8:44 literally reminds me of Steve Vai! I swear, this new generation of young kids have evolved on a whole new level when it comes to playing music. I honestly don't even think it's just because they have access to lessons online that weren't around before. I think they're getting their skills and natural gifts from a higher power or something. Like Eddie Van Halen always said, he spent a lot of time practicing but at the end of the day he gave all the credit of his gifts to "the Man Upstairs." There's an interview where he explains that and he also mentions it in the video he did with Jason Becker. I admire his humbleness so much. Seriously, he's so inspiring and that's definitely one of the reasons why he's one of my favorites. You're really humble too Stevie, and that's one of the reasons why I love you (besides you being my number one). 🥰 I think you underestimate your guitar playing abilities. You're already amazing now, but I'm serious, one of these days you're gonna blow your own mind with what more you can do. You better believe it. 😉 Btw, the timing of this video could not have been more perfect. I've literally been battling with myself for the past few weeks to just pick up my guitar and start playing and practicing again, because I haven't been feeling very inspired lately, but this video was surprisingly helpful. So I'm taking this as a sign to start practicing again. One of these days I'm gonna show the world my musical gifts/abilities. I'm cereal (serious) balls. I've been holding myself back for way too long. 😅 P.S. The way you get so worked up is so hilarious. 🤣 Also, you know I don't even have to say it, but I really enjoyed hearing you play guitar today. 😊

Hi Steve, about your question "how did he (Jeffrey) learn to play guitar like this": at least a bit he got from a 150 year old textbook called "25 progressive studies" by italian composer Matteo Carcassi. It's a standard that basically every classical guitarist has to work his way through which strongly implies that your new friend has classical training. He is playing Study Number 9 in 2:45 and study number 25 in 10:09 so he clearly mastered the whole book - usually something that takes you serveral years. In 7:05 he is playing "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" by Francisco Tarrega, it's kind of signature piece for classical guitar due to the tremolo technique (and it's beauty). This piece is something, that a lot of non-pro classical guitarrists (me included) do not master ( at least not properly). So even given if this little guy had training since he could even hold a guitar it is unbelievable how far it took him in this few year.s
@maituoguitar22978 ай бұрын

If you play close attention to the thumb movement on this one, its slightly off and a little unnatural, its more than likely AI

Wow, these kids are crazy talented. The ending scene was beautifully funny. 😂 I really enjoyed it because - and it's a secret - I love your guitar playing.😊 (Last Sunday I had a chance to see Slaughter to Prevail live. It was amazing and I have to say Alex is a beast. ) Have a nice weekend Steve!😀

YES! That rage quit - INGENIOUS! 😂 And Steve is so good at guitar, I really could listen to him play for hours. "Mum, I wanna be like Steve when I grow up!" "But... you're 31!" "What? No... I'm 21.. 12, I'm 12" 🤣

Thanks Gabriella!! I always try to incorporate my own playing. Even if I'm getting showed up by a 6 yr old!! 🤣 JEALOUS!! Slaughter to Prevail is my 'go to' heavy band!!!

80s baby here... As someone who got to live the transition from the radio to the internet: Kids of today have a way more sophisticated avenue for learning. I had to learn songs by taping them off the radio and then rewinding the tape 100s of times a day to learn sections. Now you legitimately have videos that show you a person playing, the tab and the fretboard lighting up as the notes are played. Videos that show you the whole 9 yard, teaches you the song AND the rhythm. And they have the audacity to still complain 🤣

Seizi is a Brazilian guitar brand. Seizi Tagima is a luthier who became famous for the quality of the electric guitars he manufactures. Guitarists from Brazilian bands, such as Sepultura and Angra, were sponsored by the Tagima brand. After years of activity, he sold his factory under the Tagima brand to eastern businessmen, and a few years later created the Seizi brand with a focus on high quality guitars.
