just turned 60, for my birthday i got a stage 4 colorectal cancer diagnosis, but with inspiration and examples i am beating the odds, tumor has shrunk by over 80% and metastisized spots on lungs and liver are gone, nodes are clearing up, other areas have come back benign and i am still kicking it to the kids sweet ass tunes, thank you brother

It would have been nice to have this song come out in 1995 after I was a hit and run victim, where I was crushed between 2 cars and nearly lost both of my legs. There was an incredibly talented surgeon that saved my legs and with 13 surgeries (bone, skin, arterial, vein, muscle grafts) and a collapsed lung and achilles heel cut in half to lengthen, along with a year of physical therapy and was able to walk again. The woman who hit me was caught a month later after my family posted reward posters and she was charged with 2 felonies. I still made it through with sure will and determination, without even thinking that I would be stuck in a wheelchair forever.
